Bemerkungen:
This is a beautifully renovated old flat, owned by an artist, and you see how much care was taken to beautify the rooms. Everything you need is there. It's right in the middle of city life, so it may be a bit noisy. We had earplugs which we later needed even more in our second accomodation, the residencia universitaria on the Gran Via, to the left of the ancient Coliseum-Cinema.
Typical for perhaps all of the beautiful old buildings in the center of Barcelona is: Behind the beautiful facades, people usually live in caves. A normal flat, built between 1870 and 1910, is a kind of tunnel, usually with balconies on each end. So only two rooms will get sunlight. Between them, there are about three rooms without light. The kitchen gets dim light from a kind of small patio. This is the normal cavemen-lifestyle of people in Barcelona - one reason why I wouldn't live there. But it's good for a holiday and this apartment is especially nice.
