3-Schlafzimmer- Ferienwohnung in Barcelona in Vila Olímpica

This is a well-laid-out appartment in a great location, close to the sea and virtually opposite bus stops for the tourist bus and route 14 into town (15 mins). Downstairs is a bar serving well-prepared inexpensive meals -- very useful! A short walk to the seafront and there is a choice of restaurants; the one we went to, across the bridge by the garage, the second one you come to on the left (no visible name on the front) is outstanding. By the garage and MacDonalds is a useful 24 hour store. The owner of the property is helpful and friendly. We had a great holiday, lots of sight-seeing (Gaudi, the Cathedral etc.) and even a dip in the sea (for the younger ones: it was the end of October). Barcelona is big; buses are useful and frequent; be prepared to queue for tourist attractions, even out of season (we never got on the cable car to Mont Juic, so we'll have to go back!).

Die Wohnung ist freundliche eingerichtet, insgesamt aber sehr hellhörig und der Geruch ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Lage ist gut, insbesondere die Nähe zum Strand, der Metro und den Bussen.

Very nice and clean apartment, helpful owner - I can only recommend it!

+++ PROS +++ * Lots of bus lines + metro nearby * 100m from beach * Large living room * Kitchen with all appliances (even a blender!) * Tastefully decorated (IKEA, but well chosen) * Very clear "instruction sheet" for the apartment * Elevator * 2 bathrooms * Baby crib was provided --- CONS --- * Not very clean: lots of dust * 2 of the 3 bedrooms are very dark * The balcony looks nice on the picture, but it's extremely tiny: not really usable * Door is difficult to lock

Very friendly and helpful landlord. Communication by bus to the central city close, also close to the boarwalks and beaches.

Die Wohnung ist echt klasse, leider morgens ein wenig laut, aber das hat uns nicht so sehr gestört.
