This 55 sq. feet 2 bedroom apartment is housed in an early century art-nouveau building with elevator. Both the building and the apartment have been recently fully renovated (2003) and decorated (2004). The apartment includes a 10 sq. meter terrace overlooking a typical-barcelona Eixample patio, where having breakfast or a drink will make your stay even more enjoyable. This cozy attic features hardwood floors, A/C, heating, dishwasher and wash machine.
Situated in the left part of the Eixample district, the flat is close the metro station of Rocafort. This attic is located 15 minutes away from Las Ramblas, or 3 metro stops from Plaza Catalunya. It is also 5 minutes away from Plaza Espanya and Montjuic, where the Olympic arenas and the Santiago Calatrava’s Telefónica tower are located. The spaceous Eixample, or "enlargement", was mostly built at the turn of the 20th century. The large number of art-nouveau style buildings provides the visitor the possibility to discover hidden treasures of this lovely Barcelona neighborhood.

The construction of the L´Eixample district started at the beginning of the 20th Century, by the time they finished the Clinic Hospital in 1904 the surrounding areas were still farmland. Today the Ninot Market caracterizes the central part of this neighbourhood.
The left hand side of the Eixample district is the modernistic part of Barcelona. All the streets cross in the rectangular style, which is quite unusual for European town planning. The buildings, nearly all of which have been reformed, are from the 20th Century and you will notice the variety in the decorated façades of the buildings as you walk through the area. You will find something to suit every taste in this area, design and fashion shops, relaxing parks and a range of bars and cafes to have your morning coffee in. There are also a good number of restaurants, bars and discos for those looking for some nightlife. The majority of these are around the streets, Londres, Paris and Muntaner. It can be difficult to resist the temptation to stop and try out some the local pastries & coffees, drinks & tapas or have dinner in some of the most fashionable restaurants in Barcelona. Towards the bottom of L´Eixample it meets with Plaza Catalunya and the beginning of the Gothic Quarter.
The Eixample is one of the prettiest and safest districts of Barcelona. Places of interest not to miss: Plaza Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia and Plaza España that has a fountain display with lights and music in the evening time. |

In order to ensure a successful reservation, a prepayment is required at the time of reservation. The prepayment is a percentage of the total amount due.
The outstanding amount is paid in cash upon the delivery of the keys on the first day of your stay.
Further more, it is commonplace that a deposit is required in cash, which should also be paid upon the delivery of the keys on the first day. The deposit will be reimbursed upon returning the keys on the last day of your stay.
