This flat close to Montjuic offers you accomodation in a quiet but central spot with a capacity of 6 people. The flat with its 60m2, central heating and wooden floor gives you a perfect and homy base to discover Barcelona all year round. There is two double bedrooms, the first one with a double bed (135x180cm) and the second one with two single beds (80x185cm), an ample bathroom, a lounge with sofa bed (200x200cm) and a fully equipped american-style kitchen.
Concerning the equipment, in the larger bedroom you have a perfect and undistrubed view to the modernistic building "Casaramona". The lounge offers Satelite-TV and a CD-Radio-Player. In order to do your own cooking, the kitchen comes with all necessary pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, fridge/freezer, oven and gas-cooker. The bathroom is fitted with a big triangular bathtube for maximun relax; towels and hairdryer are available.
For families with children the property owner can offer a cradle, baby chair and baby phone. There is a washing machine in the apartment.
The apartment is centrally located, close to Plaza Espanya. In the close neightbourhood you find the "Font Magica" , "Poble Español", several museums and theatres. The Barcelona fair is just 3 minutes on foot. The old town-centre is only 3 underground stops away. Close to the apartment you find supermarkets, bakers, a fish monger, a butcher, a market place and banks.
Concerning the transportation, the Plaza España is one of the most important spots in Barcelona related to transportation. The transfer from/to Barcelona’s airport is easier than anywhere else in Barcelona. There is the first stop of the Airport-Shuttle-Bus at 2 minutes walking distance. By taxi it takes you only aprox. 10 minutes. Moreover, two underground lines and many buses are running from Plaza España.

This district of Barcelona with the generic name, Poble Sec was the first ´Ensanche´ or ´extentsion´ to Barcelona´s city center. The name was given in 1854 when the first walls of Barcelona were knocked down to start the construction of terrace houses for labourers. The area had all the advantages needed to prosper, with only one setback: the steep slopes surrounding it.
The district Poble Sec lies on the border of Montjüic hill, the backdrop of the World Exposition which took place in Barcelona in 1929 and the Olympic Games in 1992. The most famous street in this district is, Avinguda Paral.lel, which was once the prime centre of Barcelona nightlife - often called the ´Montmartre´ of Barcelona. During the first half of the 20th century, this was Barcelona's area of theatres, nightclubs and music halls. Today Poble Sec continues to enjoy a friendly atmosphere with quiet streets and parks and you can still find some traditional bars, some more modernized and various good restaurants. You will also notice some modernist buildings along Avinguida Paral.lel that stand out. Poble Sec is also the area with the easiest access to Montjüic where you can enjoy spectacular views of Barcelona. The Oylmpic Games Barcelona hosted in 1992 were also held on the Montjüic mountain and the stadium is definitely a worthwhile visit.
Poble Sec is a good starting point to see Barcelona, with easy access to the city center and good communication by bus and underground which will let you feel like you have Barcelona at your feet. |

In order to ensure a successful reservation, a prepayment is required at the time of reservation. The prepayment is a percentage of the total amount due.
The outstanding amount is paid in cash upon the delivery of the keys on the first day of your stay.
Further more, it is commonplace that a deposit is required in cash, which should also be paid upon the delivery of the keys on the first day. The deposit will be reimbursed upon returning the keys on the last day of your stay.
