Two bedroom apartment in Barcelona´s city centre. The apartment is located in Barcelona´s old town near Palau de la Música, one of Barcelona´s most famous theatres. The apartment has an open kitchen/living room as well as a bathroom and two bedrooms, each with two single beds sleeping a maximum of four people.
The apartment is ideal for those who want to be in the city centre. Closeby is the fresh food of Santa Catarina with many tapas bars and traditional artisan shops in the area. A few minutes from the apartment is the famous Cathedral and Las Ramblas.

For check-in (from 23pm to 7am) the owner requires an additional payment of 20€ at the arrival.

Location

The districts of Santa Caterina and Sant Pere form part of the old helmet of Barcelona and their names originate with the large religious institutions that were once in this area. In the 18th century, the age of maritime trade, the majority of its commerce and business centered in and around this area.
Today the district is known for the density of its buildings with their narrow winding streets, filled with little shops. For tourists it´s an ideal starting point to discover Barcelona. With its variety of shops you will be able to find all you need for your stay within a short walking distance and its location allows you to reach most of the tourist spots within a few minutes. The Gothic Quarter and Cathedral as well as Plaza Catalunya, Arc de Triumfo and Park Ciutadella are all very near, about a five to ten minute walk from the area. You can even get to the beach in about fifteen minutes.
On the other hand, the Santa Caterina and Sant Pere districts are not the safest areas of Barcelona. Its not recommended that tourists stroll around the little side streets especially at night.
On saying that a lot of tourists stay in the area for its good location and the authentic atmosphere. Some places of interest to look out for are; the Palau de la Música, the Arch de Triumf, the Ciutadella Park and the Picasso Museum.
