The area in Raval where the apartment was located was great. Full of life but not too restless. The whole house was pretty quiet. There was street noise during the night, but nothing that a good pair of earpluggs couldn\'t cure. We liked Raval so much, that we wouldn\'t take an apartment in any other district. Panaderías and grocery stores nearby. 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest metro (and the Mercat de la Boqueria!). The apartment was clean and cozy. The oven woke up and started beeping every night. It was annoying, but it was also easy to shut it down. The contact person was very helpful and polite! Recommended.
