| Country house in Mallorca, refurbished in 2005 and equipped with satellite TV. The living room has sofas, armchairs, tables and a chimney. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster washing machine, blender, dish washer, and fridge. The house has 3 bedrooms: two rooms with double beds and one with two single beds. There are two bathrooms in the house, one with a shower and washbasin and the other with a bathtub and washbasin. Outside there is a 500m² garden and a 30m² covered and furnished terrace. There is also an 8x4 swimming pool, shower, sunshade and a built-in barbeque. The house is 25km from Palma de Mallorca, 24km from the sea and 2km from the supermarket, restaurants and shops. |

Sencelles is one of the forgotten villages of Majorca, about 30km east from the capital Palma. Due to its situation in the centre of the Island, tourist expansion has been difficult and so Sencelles could keep its authentic character of the landscape, traditions and architecture.
Consequently it offers sites that are worth visiting, for example the Convent of the Sisters of Charity. It is situated on the first floor of the house, which was given by Sor Francinaina in 1851. The rooms where the Blessed Francinaina lived have been made into a museum. But also the Parish Church of Sant Pere de Sencelles (1705) and the Rectory (1650) are beautiful buildings from former ages.
Besides the traditional Mediterranean dishes, especially with fish and seafood, you should at least participate in of the following Fiestas:
Santa Agueda: on the 5th of February with bonfires and barbecue on the evening as well as traditional music.
Beata Sor Francinaina: on the 27th of February, which is a floral offering to the image of the Blessed by the children of the village, all dressed in typical costumes.
Mare de Deu de agosto: on the 15th of August with sports events, music groups, theatre and fireworks.
The market in Sencelles takes place every Wednesday on the Plaza Nueva and on the third Sunday of May a special Fair is held. It is know for the exhibition of cars and agricultural machinery, sheep and goats, as well as a flea market, where you can find a wide range of things. |

In order to ensure a successful reservation, a prepayment is required at the time of reservation. The prepayment is a percentage of the total amount due.
The outstanding amount is paid in cash upon the delivery of the keys on the first day of your stay.
Further more, it is commonplace that a deposit is required in cash, which should also be paid upon the delivery of the keys on the first day. The deposit will be reimbursed upon returning the keys on the last day of your stay.
