Description
A typical building of the old city more than a hundred years old, completely redecorated and furnished, in a pedestrian street, it opens onto a charming square. The atmosphere and bustle of the traditional shops and antique stores, as well as the historical and beautiful corners of the Gothic Quarter, make it an attractive place to stay.
This large apartment comprises of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, one of the single beds is a fold-up bed. In the double room there is a clothes rack for hanging your clothes and two little bedside tables and lamps. The single room has a little chest of drawers for your clothes. The kitchen and living room are in a large open plan style and the living room has a balcony that looks out onto a little street. The sofa in the living room can be unfolded to accommodate two more people. The bathroom and shower are separate from the toilet and the apartment has a curious old fashioned wash-hand basin. There are also two portable heaters for winter and a fan for summer and the landlady also provides a travel cot for babies free of charge.
This apartment makes a pleasant stay for groups of friends (average age for group bookings must be over 35yrs or a family travelling together) who want to be in the heart of things but it has to be noted that it´s not the quietist of apartments and is not recommended for light sleepers.
Notes:The landlady will only accept groups of four or more if it is a family.

There is an extra charge for late arrivals; a charge of 25€ will be incurred for arrivals between 21.00hrs and 23.00hrs, after 23.00hrs the charge increases to 40.00€.

Getting there
Metro lines L1 L3 L4metro lines run along both right and left borders of the Gòtico, while the transport hub of Plaça Catalunya (and its airport buses) sits just to the top. Mostly accessible on foot, through the windy medieval streets.

La personne de contact parle anglais et espagnol, mais pas le français L'appartement est plus joli sur les photos que dans la réalité. Appartement très bruyant, car bar à tapas juste en dessous. Attention pas de climatisation !!!. Sinon seul point positif, très bien situé.

The apartment was in a good location, however, we found it noisey at night and we had problems with the electricity. We also found the bathroom facilities very basic and we rarely had hot water we wanted to shower.

Die Fotos der Wohnung halten leider nicht ganz was sie versprechen, Tageslicht gibt es mäßig nur im Wohnzimmer, die "Fenster" in den Schlafzimmern gehen nur in einen schmalen dunklen Innenhof. Die Wohnung ist quasi ein langer Flur, ein Zimmer geht über in das andere. Das heiße und warme Wasser in der Dusche hält max für 2 Personen. Keine dt. TV Sender. Das dritte Bett war leider doch nur ein quietschendes Klappbett. Für junge Leute ohne große Ansprüche für den schnellen kurzen Aufenthalt sicher gut geeignet. Äußerst schmales Treppenhaus, nicht zu große Koffer mitnehmen :-)

Die Unterkunft ist prima. Sie ist sehr detailverliebt eingerichtet und in akzeptablem Zustand. Die bereits angekündigte Lautstärke hat sich bei uns sehr in Grenzen gehalten. Im Winter waren wir froh, reichlich elektrische Heizkörper vorzufinden. Bei voller Belegung wird es sicherlich ungemütlicher. Einen Balkon gibt es nicht.Für uns (2 Personen) war es genau richtig. Wir würden wiederkommen. Absolut reibungslos und unaufwändig. Prima!
