Beautiful apartment near the beach of Barceloneta

Apartment well renovated and clean, quite dark and noisy because few isolated from the stairwell. The dryer did not work. Correct set and pleasant for sleeping and eating.

Appartement bien rénové et propre, assez sombre et bruyant car peu isolé de la cage d'escalier. Le seche linge ne fonctionnait pas. Ensemble correct et agreable pour dormir et manger.

The accommodation was great and provided everything we needed. A few things which would improve it are a new/descaled kettle- the current one was furred up, and i think the air conditioning remote needed new batteries but these are small things. There was a strange vent in the bathroom which ...connected to the stairwell in the apartment next door and we were a little concerned that people walking up the stairs could see us getting undressed.

small, clean & ideal base for exploring Barcelona

The accommodation was pretty much as described, compact and modern. The location was fantastic, if noisy, provided you don't need to park a car; a network of narrow streets with olde world buildings, peppered with shops and bars, in sight of palm lined beaches, and within a minute of a number of ...restaurants and ice cream parlors. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the previous occupants had not emptied both bins as requested. The bathroom one was full of soiled sanitary items, and had been missed on the inspection. There was a musty smell from inside the lower kitchen cabinets, and the duvait also smelled musty. Once wrapped in a sheet (there were no duvait covers) it was bearable. One of the twin beds was a bit lumpy, but the other was fine, and there was a perfectly good sofa bed. But all these things are easily fixable. Recommended. Clear instructions. I could ask no more.  

(13/12/2010) The owner is sorry about the humidity but he assure that is not a problem linked to the apartment but with the area, the Barceloneta in on the beach and his sewerage system is not modern. The apartment is equipped with a dehumidifier and air freshener.

Everything went well. Everything was very well equipped.

Tout s'est bien passé. Tout était très bien équipé.
