This concept has been given several design awards as well as being presented in the IESE and ESADE business schools as a model. The apartment can be found on the first floor of a apartment block with a lift which looks out onto a tree-lined street.
The district it’s located in is very well served by public transport, only being 20m from a metro station and a 20 minute walk from the Sagrada Familia. It also has good access to good quality products with traditional shops nearby, such as the bakery of the same apartment block which the same owners have managed over three generations.
The apartment has 3 well-lit bedrooms, two double rooms with a double bed in each, one of them leading through to a private inner patio, as well as a double room with two individual beds. The mattresses are good quality and sheets and towels are also available.
The living room has an open balcony, sofa, table, TV, DVD player and a wireless Internet connection, which can be accessed from anywhere in the apartment.
The kitchen is very well equipped, with two stoves, a fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, a juice maker and enough utensils for 6 diners.
The bathrooms are open and are especially designed. One is complete with an open shower, toilet and hand dryer while the other has a toilet, hand dryer and a big mirror.
From here you can access the utility room. The utility room has a washing machine and a covered area to hang washing in.Extras

only one of the contact persons spoke english. she was not particularly friendly and was difficult to reach on her cell phone. she urged us to provide a check out time and nobody pitched up on the agreed time. only after we called, she sent a colleague to us. we had reserved a taxi and were stressed out because the check out person with our deposit came half an hour late. he gave us 30 eur as compensation. the apartment is really big, which is its main advantage. it is also right next to a metro station. but one of the double beds was basically broken. they replaced it with a new one on the second day. the toilet seat and the toaster were also broken.

Nice apartment. Not right at the center but 10 m from the metro. And a really big plus for having a bakery right down stairs!

higher quality than expected, great locations (we booked two apartments for two date periods), either close to a metro station, in the case of the apartment being away from the center, OR right in the center and very quite at the same time. the facilities were in an excelent condition and the interior of the apartments was cosy and very home-like, both accomodations enabled us to feel like Barcelona citizens
