Very quiet apartment right in the center of Barcelona, next to the cathedral and to the avenue "Paseo Maritimo". It is located at first floor of a listed building which has been recently renovated. It is very welcoming thanks to the oak beamed ceiling. The temperature of the apartment is the perfect one: warm in winter and cool in summer.
In the apartment you will find a spacious bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a single bed and a third bedroom with a double bed and a pretty wall decorated with Venetian plaster. In the living /dining room there is a 32 inchs sat tv , HI-FI, video player with films, a Playstation 2 and a Pc with Internet connection. The apartment is fully equipped and comes with sheets, towels, iron, kitchen utensils etc.. In the kitchen besides of an electric cooker, a fridge and a washing machine, you will find a toaster, an electric oven, a microvawe and a mixer.In the bathroom there is a sink, a wide shower a service and an hairdryer. Despite the apartment has been refurbished it mantains the old style and the characteristic wooden doors . The main entrance is made of marble and has been recently painted.
Also for parents with a newborn child, we have a pram stroll along the city.
Included in the rental price you'll also find: internet conection, a Pay as you go mobile telephone is available for those who cannot use their mobile phones, a cot and a stroller. Just ask the owner.

We booked this due to its location & proximity to sights. We were greeted by a gentleman that wasn't the host and barely spoke english. The apartment was okay AND NOTHING like it is in the photos. After walking through the apartment he said trash pick up was in evening. When we asked where trash... bags were, he didn't know. After searching, he said there weren't any & he would get some. (He brought trash bags after 15 minutes.) Once he left, we realized there wasn't soap to wash hands on the bathroom sink. We had to buy our own hand soap to wash our hands!!! In the kitchen, there wasn't coffee, salt, or sugar. At basic, at least provide coffee for your guests! There wasn't even dish washing soap. We had to buy EVERYTHING ourselves!!! Terrible service and bad apartment- DO NOT BOOK THIS!!
