There are several important city museums located nearby, such as the magnificent MNAC (The National Museum of Catalan Art), from the stairway leading to which you will be able to enjoy one of the most stunning views over the city. You will also find the Miro' Foundation, the Caixaforum and Mies Van der Rohe Pavillion. Thanks to the urban renewal here, set into action by the Olympic Games which were held here in 1992, an Olympic Stadium and the 'Palau Sant Jordi', a multi-sports arena which is often used as a concert hall. Whilst on Montjuic, you will be able to visit Barcelona's Botanical gardens, as well as exploring the curious 'Poble Espanyol', an open-air village in which several full-scale buildings, squares and streets representing different cities within Spain are recreated.
'Espanya' metro station (lines 1 and 3) is located just 300 metres away from the apartment, using which you will be easily able to get around the city. Line 3 will take you directly to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona- Las Ramblas- and to Barcelona's port area, where the MareMagnum shopping centre is located. For sports-lovers, there is the famous 'Camp Nou', Barca's football club, which you will be able to find by heading to 'Les Corts' metro stop on line 3, in the direction of the university area.
Just 4 stops on the red metro line will get you to the centre of the city, Plaza Catalunya, and from there in two stops you can get to the Arc de Triomf. Both of these lines are well connected, and within the immediate vicinity of the stations you will find numerous shops, bars and restaurants.

It is situated in a calm street in the shadow of the hill of Montjuic and right behind the Caixaforum.
