Three bedroom apartment centrally located. The apartment is located in what was once a small old palace and has the advantage of having most of Barcelona´s sights within walking distance, the Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, Las Ramblas, etc. The apartment was painted and redecorated in December of 2003. There are three bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed (200x150cm) and looks onto the patio as shown in the photo above. The second room has two single beds and has a window looking onto the staircase of the old palace. The third bedroom is interior, there is a window but very little natural light, it has one single bed and a pull out bed underneath both measure 200x90cm. There is an equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower unit and living room/dining room. As the apartment is in one of Barcelona´s typical old buildings, the water for the shower is from a deposit, which means that you may have to wait a while between showers for the deposit to fill again. The main advantage the apartment has is the little patio where you can sit out and enjoy sunshine. The flat is equipped with fans in summer and portable heaters in winter.

Getting there
Metro lines L1 L4metro stops of Jaume 1, on Via Laietana, Arc de Triomf, near the top, and Barceloneta to the south. You’re also close to one of the city’s main train stations - the Estació de França. It’s about a quarter of an hour walk to the Ramblas.

Appartement tranquille mais entrée bruyante car forte résonnance, mais rare. Vieille immeuble, donc tout le charme d'un appartement catalan à mon goût. La location est juste parfaite car restaurants, metro et plage à 2 pas.

Sober, niet echt sprake van een 'woonkamer". Het appartement is qua plek in de stad uitstekend, vele bezienswaardigheden, terrasjes etc. op loopafstand. Wijk is perfect.

We stayed from 22-08-2011 t/m 28-08-2011. The location is excellent. Only the shower is very small and the hose was leaking badly. Because there is no A/C in the apartment it was very hot inside in the summer months. After complaints about the shower hose, the contact person fixed it temporary and put coolingfans in the bedrooms.
Oh-barcelona:
The owner confirms that he has fixed the problem with the shower hose.
