A two bedroom apartment in the Gothic Quarter. The building itself is more than 100 years old but the façade, stairwell and the apartment were renovated in November 2003. The main bedroom as shown in the photo has two single beds and the second room also has two singles. Both rooms have their own t.v there is also a DVD, a streo system and wifi internet connection in the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom have been redecorated and airconditioning / heating installed. The real feature of the apartment is the terrace, there is direct access to it from the apartment. There is also an apartment next door, ref 197322 on our website that also has access to the terrace but each apartment has their own tables and chairs and from the terrace you have some of the best views over Barcelona´s Gothic Quarter. The apartments are rented separately but are ideal for groups.
The apartment is just behind Plaza Real, one of Barcelona´s most famous sqares with lots of popular resturantes and bars. Las Rabmlas are about a minute on foot where you can see all the street performers and enjoy a drink on one of its many outdoor cafe´s.The drawback to the apartment is that it´s on the fifth floor without a lift and as it is so central, over the weekend there are many people in the area and the streets can be left quite dirty.

Getting there
Metro lines L1 L3 L4metro lines run along both right and left borders of the Gòtico, while the transport hub of Plaça Catalunya (and its airport buses) sits just to the top. Mostly accessible on foot, through the windy medieval streets.

Situation parfaite (10 m de la place royale). Bonnes jambes conseillées (5e étage sans ascenseur). Appartement sans canapé (4 lits 1 place) mais bien équipé et propre. Le plus génial : grande terrasse privée au 6e étage avec vue sur Barcelone (mais pas aménagée, il y a juste une table). Compliqué d'obtenir l'adresse précise de l'appartement réservé. Trop de publicités reçues par mail.

My boyfriend and two friends stayed in the apartment in May 2011 and had a fantastic stay. The apartment is in an incredible location - 30 seconds from Las Ramblas and Placa Reial so within walking distance of everything. The area itself has loads to do and lots of great buildings. It's busy at night but never felt dangerous and you can't hear any noise once inside the building. Apartment itself was clean, bright, spacious, with plenty of storage and everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Those five flights of stairs are a bit of a slog after a long day or with luggage, but it's totally worth it for the amazing roof terrace, which is enormous and has views across the whole city. The landlady was helpful, friendly and easy to contact - no problems at all. Would happily recommend this apartment to anyone and would definitely stay again. Easy to book, good communication - would use again.
