The apartment is one of a group of ten located in a building right in the historic centre of Barcelona. The building was originally built at the turn of the 20th Century and has been carefully reformed, restoring the orginal features such as the red marble in the entrance and adding the modern touch of an elevator. The apartment is within easy walking distance of some of Barcelona´s most famous sites; the Ramblas, the gothic Santa Maria del Mar church, the Picasso Musuem and the Cathedral.
This apartment consists of an entrance, a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and an arch that separates the kitchen from the living room. There is one bathroom with a bath tube (shower incorporated) and three bedrooms, one of which is a double room with a double bed, the others are single rooms. Both the living room and the double bedroom have balcony windows looking onto the pedestrian street Calle Argentería. The apartment has a 21" TV, with international channels via satellite, there is also optional WIFI internet connection (computer not provided) and a telephone.

The apartment was everything it should be, clean and comfortable. We were travelling with a 4-year-old and were warmly welcomed. When some things broke (not our fault :-)), things were quickly settled. I can imagine that in summertime the street gets noisy, but now in april the location was just ...perfect. Only the twin bed was not comfortable and needs very much to be replaced.
