The apartment is one of a group of ten located in a building right in the historic centre of Barcelona. The apartment block was originally built at the turn of the 20th Century and has been carefully reformed, restoring the orginal features such as the red marble in the entrance and adding the modern touch of an elevator. The apartment is within easy walking distance of some of Barcelona´s most famous sights: Las Ramblas, the Santa Maria del Mar church – a jewel of gothic art, the Picasso Musuem and the Cathedral.
This apartment consists of an entrance, a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and an arch that separates the kitchen from the living room. There is one bathroom with a bath tub (shower incorporated) and three bedrooms, one of which is a twin room with two single beds, the others are single rooms. Both the living room and the twin bedroom have balcony windows looking onto the pedestrian street, Calle Argentería.The apartment has a 21" t.v, with international channels via satellite, there is also optional WIFI internet connection (computer not provided) and a telephone.

Extras
If you are travelling with infants (under 2 years) you are obliged to rent a cot for the baby. There is a charge of 6€ per night to cover the cost of the cot, bed linen, blankets and facilities provided for the baby.
For late arrivals to the apartment (after 23.00hrs) there is a charge of 20€.
Neither of the above charges are included in the price shown below, they are to be paid directly to the landlord on the day of arrival.
A parking is available with an extra charge of 25€/day.

Accommodation was clean and simply furnished, but perfect for our needs. Very well located for getting out and about in Barcelona, with many bars and restaurants very close at hand. Inevitably, this meant it was quite noisy at night - the price you pay for a city-centre location! Oh-Barcelona looked after us very well - including a number of emails and phone calls to make sure that our booking was what we wanted. First rate! The discount vouchers were very useful too and saved us quite a lot of money (though make sure you print out one per member of your party - some people were a bit difficult when I only prodcued one).

A great location to visit Barcelona with a very friendly contact with M. F., our hostess. This is a cosy apartment, clean, with comfortable beds and well equipped with all the basics, including sugar, salt, oil, toilet paper, napkins, kitchen paper, a bottle of fresh water, etc. It is located in a very nice neighbourhood and close to everything (shops, restaurants, cafes, metro, places not to miss, etc). At first we were worried about the street noise at night, as we were on the first floor but we had no problems: just close the windows and turn on the air conditioning. The only thing missing was a stereo unit to enjoy music when relaxing from the long walking days. We stayed for a week and everything went just fine. When returning to Barcelona we would love to stay here again.
