Situated in the fashionable area of Santa Caterina/Sant Pere the apartment is located five minutes walking from the Picasso musuem and the Ciudadela park. The Gothic Quarter and Plaza Catalunya are about ten minutes away.
The apartment is on the top floor with an elevator and has a private terrace of 23m2. The owner can also provide a baby cot, available on request. The apartment was redecorated at the end of 2004 and receives lots of natural light. The apartment is also well connected by bus and metro. It´s about 200metres from the Arc de Triomf station where you can take a train directly to Barcelona airport and it´s not far from the drop off point for the buses comming from Girona airport.
The apartment has WiFi internet connection.

Getting there
Metro lines L1 L4metro stops of Jaume 1, on Via Laietana, Arc de Triomf, near the top, and Barceloneta to the south. You’re also close to one of the city’s main train stations - the Estació de França. It’s about a quarter of an hour walk to the Ramblas.

The apartment was exactly as described and was very well presented, and the contacts were very helpful. The apartment is in a beautiful building, and in an excellent location for restaurants, shopping and attractions - the description actually doesn't do it justice. We had a really great family holiday.

Somekind og cloak leakage in the bathroom spread most of the time an awful smell throughout the appartment. I had read warning of this in one the earlier comments, but presume wrongly thais kind of shortcomings must have been repaired. Unfortunately not. THIS SHOULD REPAIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Otherwise you cheat people with wrong promises.
Oh-barcelona:
(16/03/2011) the owner comunicate us that the smell in the bathroom is a general problem of sewage of all the building.
