Description
Studio style room ideal for young couples or travellers on a budget. The accommodation offers a comfortable twin room with a kitchette; small fridge, microwave, kettle, kitchen utensils etc (the basics for breakfast or heating food but not for cooking meals). There is a satelite t.v, with remote control, table & chairs, bed linen & towels as well as ventilators and central heating. The room has two windows onto an interior shaft so it doesn´t receive a lot of natural light. A baby cot can also be provided upon request. The room is located on the first floor in a building with an elevator.
There are four such rooms on the same floor as well as three double rooms so the landlady can accept group bookings. The rooms are ideal for those who want to be in the centre of Barcelona and who are looking for comfort at an affordable price. The rooms are located in a building on Calle Gignas, right in the centre of Barcelona which means that there´s no need to use public transport; Las Ramblas, the Borne area, Plaza Catalunya etc can all be reached on foot.

the window in the picture was NOT a window to outside, it was only a window to the water pipes. The air in the room was really humid and bad to breathe. And because it was so humid and we had no window to the outside, we had to first go outside the building to see what the weather was like. And although there is a kitchen, there is only a microwave, and you're not allowed to cook anything in it. And although there are cupboards, there is only 2 plastic plates, bowls, and forks. there wasn't enough toilet paper, and the cleaning lady came only once and brought fresh towels. This room is ok if you don't plan on spending much time there. We thought we could relax there between sight-seeing, but it really isn't relaxing - only for sleeping (although the beds were really bad for our backs)
