Comfortable apartment near Sagrada Familia

We would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone on a short break looking for a good location. The contact person was excellent.

Be careful when visiting sights! Working on the Sagrada Familia or the town beach many pickpockets drive around. The beautifully cut and clean apartment is located in the city is, but looking for someone the rest not the fitting. But the hustle and bustle ... gave us fallen. Barcelona is a vibrant ...town with many small shops. One no longer knows which from German cities. Here is real multi-cultural. I can only recommend to do without a car. Not because of the traffic. It runs more or less smoothly. It is rather a question that it costs a fortune to park the car somewhere. Is also super Metro or buses anywhere in a three minute interval. A 6 days in advance sent mail to the arrival time to the apartment was not answered. After a phone call on the spot, an officer came to pass then about 20 minutes later. Payment with credit card no problem and the staff was even better as he would otherwise result in too much cash.  

Vorsicht beim Besuch von Sehenwürdigkeiten! Gerade an der Sagrada Familia oder am Stadtstrand treiben sich viele Taschendiebe rum. Die schön geschnittene und saubere Ferienwohnung liegt mitten in der Stadt ist aber für jemanden der Ruhe sucht nicht das passende. Aber uns hat der Trubel ...gefallen. Barcelona ist eine lebendige Stadt mit vielen kleinen Geschäften. Das kennt man aus deutschen Städten gar nicht mehr. Hier ist echtes Multi-Kulti angesagt. Ich kann nur empfehlen auf ein Auto zu verzichten. Nicht wegen des Verkehrs; der läuft mehr oder weniger reibungslos. Es geht eher darum, dass es ein Vermögen kostet das Auto irgendwo zu parken. Man kommt auch super mit der U-Bahn oder Bussen überallhin und das im Dreiminutentakt. Eine 6 Tage im Voraus verschickte Mail zur Ankunftszeit am Appartement wurde nicht beantwortet. Nach einem Anruf vor Ort kam dann ca. 20 Minuten später ein Mitarbeiter zur Übergabe. Zahlung mit Kreditkarte war kein Problem und dem Mitarbeiter sogar lieber, da er sonst zuviel Bargeld mit sich führen müsste.  

The apartment was very clean and we had everything what we from place benötgten. Weige only minutes away lies the Sagrada and two metro stations allow to come very quickly anywhere.Also in the closer environment it was possible to buy evening, something nice to eat and and and... And also the ...environment was not loud, as in einigenKomentaren.And especially nice was our contact person - has responded promptly and was very open-minded and has answered our questions nicely and in detail. 

Die Wohnung war sehr ordentlich und wir hatten alles, was wir vor Ort benötgten. Nur weige Minuten entfernt liegt die Sagrada und zwei Metrostationen ermöglichen es, sehr schnell überall hin zu kommen.Auch im nähern Umfeld war es möglich, abends noch einzukaufen, was Nettes zu essen und und ...und.. Und auch das Umfeld war nicht laut, wie in einigenKomentaren zu lesen war. Und besonders nett war unsere Kontaktperson - hat prompt reagiert und war sehr aufgeschlossen und hat unsere Fragen nett und ausführlich beantwortet. 

At our arrival in the appartment we were asked to be quiet and make no noise after 10 PM. But the other persons in the building don't know that rule. I had broken nights for hard voices/slamming of doors and radio/TV late at night and very early in the morning.

The location of the apartment is ideal. The equipment is partially facelift, but in order for a few days.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal. Die Ausstattung ist teilweise erneuerungsbedürftig, aber für ein paar Tage in Ordnung.

Good apartment, well located for who wants to visit La Sagrada Familia. Soundproofing is poor, but the neighbours have been rather quiet. The shower is a \"Scottish\": unwieldy, sudden changes in temperature, and flow through the drain is very slow. But overall, this is a good place to stay a few ...days in Barcelona. Contact person was comprehensive although we arrived late and it full arms, because she had to accommodate other visitors to other apartments.It may be that the contact person has some help, because she had several receptions in the same day at the same time. While it was on us, she had to call other people to tell them that she would be late. I would not like having the bad luck to wait in the street an hour before the contact happens. 

Bon appartement, bien situé pour qui veut visiter La Sagrada Familia. L'insonorisation laisse à désirer, mais les voisins ont été plutôt tranquilles. La douche est de type "écossaise": difficile à manier, changements brusques de température, et l'écoulement par le drain est très lent. ...Mais globalement, c'est un bon endroit pour séjourner quelques jours à Barcelone. La personne de contact a été compréhensive même si nous sommes arrivés en retard et si elle en avait plein les bras, car elle devait accueillir d'autres visiteurs à d'autres appartements. Il serait peut-être bon que la personne de contact ait un peu d'aide, car elle avait plusieurs accueils à faire la même journée en même temps. Pendant qu'elle nous recevait, elle devait appeler d'autres personnes pour leur dire qu'elle serait en retard. Je n'aurait pas aimé avoir la malchance d'attendre dans la rue une heure pour que le contact arrive. 

Housing very well located near la Sagra and downtown (close to a metro station). The contact person has been very friendly, available, cooperative and welcoming. (thanks for his efforts to talk about French). Functional, spacious, well equipped apartment clean bedding; Just to review the evacuation ...of the water in the bathroom, closing the door of the bathroom and the refrigerator handle. 

Logement trés bien situé près de la Sagra et du Centre ville (proche d'une station de métro). La personne de contact a été tres aimable, disponible, coopérative et accueillante. (merci pour ses efforts de parler français). Appartement fonctionnel, spacieux,bien équipé, literie propre; ...Juste à revoir l'évacuation de l'eau dans la salle de bain, la fermeture de la porte de la SDB et la poignée du frigo. 

The contact person was rude and promised several things by exchange email and once we got there she totally changed all the conversation; the apartment clearly said that it has AC which would make bookers assume that bedrooms atleast include ac which was not the case so it was too hot to even sleep;... wifi was broken for 3 days all in all less than standard and pictures displayed look way boigger than the real size i beleive size of each room should be clearly mentioned  

It would be nice to have had a tour of the apartment and be toldhow every thing works, for example we could not use the cooker as we were not told that we needed matches for it. I was for the third time i Barcelona and I knew my ways around but for some one new would have been nice to have a kind ...welcom package with touristic information . The flat does not come cheap and such facility does not cost a fortune.
