Two bedroomed apartment situated in the Sants area

The contact person speaks very good English, which is a great relief. He was always helpful in providing information. I reached at 10.00PM and Mr. N was there at the apartment location waiting for us. There was enough information provided by him regarding the nearest shops and Metro stations. The ...apartment is located near a Metro L3 and is just 10min walkabout. Rooms were good. Since we need to vacate on early morning, Mr. N returned the deposit money and said he trust us. Very nice guy.

The furniture is partly very worn out. The bathroom is very small and plättert from the ceiling of the shower color that, absolutely need of renovation. Rather agree not the salaries of the pillow - total dirty pillows come to the fore. Only the living room has a window overlooking the street. The ...Windows of both rooms offer a view of the staircase! The apartment is very small, from early 7 pm, one hears the car noise very strongly (with closed Windows!) in the living roomThe location is very good, you can reach two metro lines in 5 min walk, shopping markets, there are bakeries also en masse. The owner is very nice, we were unfortunately disappointed by the quality of the apartment. 

Die Möbel sind schon teilweise sehr abgenutzt. Das Bad ist sehr klein und von der Decke der Dusche plättert Farbe ab, absolut renovierungsbedürftig. Lieber nicht die Bezüge von den Kopfkissen abmachen - total verdreckte Kopfkissen kommen zum Vorschein. Nur das Wohnzimmer hat ein Fenster mit ...Blick auf Straße. Die Fenster der beiden Schlafzimmer bieten einen Blick ins Treppenhaus! Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig, ab früh 7 Uhr hört man im Wohnzimmer den Autolärm sehr stark (bei geschlossenem Fenster!)Die Lage ist allerdings sehr gut, man erreicht zwei Metro-Linien in 5 min Fußweg, Einkaufsmärkte, Bäckereien gibt es auch en masse. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, von der Qualität der Wohnung waren wir aber leider enttäuscht. 

Our goal was to live in an apartment which is nice and clean, yet cheap. Not in the center (because it's too noisy in the center), but near a metro station. This was a perfect match. The contact person was very nice and helpful, the apartment had everything we needed, including towels, toilet ...paper, salt, and olive oil. And it's situated in an old building, very typical to Barcelona, with those narrow stairs and no elevator. It was hard to climb to the apartment using those stairs, but the experience was totally worth it. 300 meters to a metro station and a supermarket. Lots of bars and grocery shops around. Me and my son became regular customers of the nearest bakery (pastissería). Quite a quiet street. Very nice. We liked it. 

The contact person was very obliging and helpful. After we had already prefer our checkout due to the Lufthansa strike on 04: 30 pm, Mr Furnis was on time on the ground. Once again thank you for this. The apartment is located close to a metro station which you can easily reach everything. The ...equipment is good, clean and sufficient. Cheap and good restaurants and cafes are in the immediate vicinity. 

Die Kontaktperson war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Nachdem wir unseren Checkout aufgrund des Lufthansastreiks bereits auf 04:30 Uhr vorziehen mussten,war Herr Furnis pünktlich vor Ort. Nochmals herzlichen Dank dafür. Das Apartment liegt unweit einer Metrostation vor der man alles bequem ...erreichen kann. Die Ausstattung ist gut, sauber und ausreichend. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind günstige und gute Lokale und Cafes. 

The owner is charming; Its English origin is very convenient for those who do not know a word of Spanish....The apartment is simple but well equipped and relatively well placed, close to the metro (line 3) and the neighborhood is quiet. However housing is quite noisy (bedroom overlooking the stairwell window: surprising)

Le propriétaire est charmant; Son origine anglaise est très pratique pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas un mot d'espagnol.... L'appartement est simple mais bien équipé et relativement bien placé,proche du métro ( ligne 3 ) et le quartier est calme. Par contre le logement est assez bruyant ( ...fenêtre de chambre donnant sur la cage d'escalier : assez surprenant ) 

You have to expect a certain amount of noise and disruption, you are in a city. this apartment is in a perfect location, it has all you need for a short break. The owner is friendly and the apartment is roomy, chilling (in the best sense), well located for stations, and a great place to explore the ...wonders of barcelona and beyond. I would rent this apartment again without a second glance. Don't waste your time searching. Enjoy the apartment and Barcelona. You do not have to very far to find a good meal, friendly company, nice shops ( I recommend the hand bags over the road and the local market shops - lovely olives and good wine - cocktail bar at the end of the street!) I just loved it and cannot wait to return. DL C. 

N. was our host and was very helpful in providing information leading up to our arrival. The apartment served our needs and was located in a friendly, safe neighborhood in close proximity to the Metro.

The beds were so bad we couldn't sleep. Ended up one on the pulldown bed with doonas to soften. Main bed we put single mattress on top to try to sleep better. Pots in kitchen unuseable. Noise from other apartments and outside constantly kept us awake at all hours. moved out 2 days early to a decent... hotel so we could get a few nights sleep before continuing out trip. We were really very disgusted considering the hotels were tremendous and hardly much different in price. 

The owner confirms that he reviewed the state of mattresses and that they are in excellent condition. They also confirm that there are 2 spare pans in the kitchen.
