Holiday Apartments in Sant Antoni, Barcelona
Sant Antoni is a neighbourhood within Barcelonas prestigious LEixample district, bordered on the north side by the famous street Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes (the longest street in Spain). The streets are laid out in a grid pattern, typical of the whole LEixample area, so getting lost doesnt tend to be a problem. The pedestrianised Avinguda de Mistral cuts through the district, and is a lovely place to take in local sights and sounds. Shop like the locals do and head for the districts most famous landmark - the Mercat de Sant Antoni, which covers a large block of the district. Here youll find a veritable feast of flavours and colours the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and seafood and lots of locals jostling for the best bargain. Holiday apartments in Sant Antoni are in a great location - in the central area of Barcelona but away from the loud, overly touristy areas. Apartments here tend to be more spacious than in districts such as El Raval, for instance, where the streets are narrower and buildings more compact.
