The Hostal Albi is located in the historical centre of Barcelona, in the Calle Avinyo, where the famous painter Pablo Picasso took his first steps in the world of painting. The famous Ramblas, the Cathedral and the port are all just 5 minutes walk away.
The hostel is noteworthy for its welcoming and personal attention to guests, pleasant atmosphere and great variety of tourist information on offer. The rooms are clean, well-cared for, sunny and functional; some with private bathroom, others shared. All rooms look onto an interior courtyard and therefore far from the noise of the busy Gótico district.
The reception is open 24 hours a day and guests may come and go at any time. In the area surrounding the hostel there are a large variety of restaurants both with international cuisine as well as local food. If it is the night life of Barcelona that is most attractive visitors have a wonderful selection in the Gótico area with numerous bars and clubs in the old part of town, and just ten minutes from the chill out venues in the Olympic Port that combine a great international atmosphere and wonderful views overlooking the sea.
