The Pensión Ciudadela is located in the historical centre of Barcelona, opposite the Ciutadella Park, in the popular and lively district of the Born and just a two-minute walk from the Paseo Marítimo.
All the rooms are fully fitted with air conditioning, TV, free WIFI internet connection, and each has a balcony. There is a choice of single, double, triple or quadruple rooms with or without private bathroom. The hostel has pleasant, cozy decoration and is located on the third floor of a reformed stately building with a lift. The friendly staff on reception are available 24 hours a day.
The Born is one of the most beautiful restored areas in the historical city centre, and is a picturesque and cultural neighbourhood with numerous tapas bars and restaurants and charming shops and boutiques. The accommodation is just a short stroll from some of the most popular locations with the Barcelona locals, and visitors have the choice of heading to the beach at Barceloneta in the morning to sunbathe or taking a stroll in the Ciutadella park, visiting the Picasso Museum in the afternoon or ending the day with a drink and some tapas in front of the beautiful church, the Catedral del Mar.
The area is also very well connected to public transport networks by metro and bus and most tourist attractions are within a 5-10 minute walk, including the famous Ramblas, the Cathedral, the Plaza Real, the Olympic Port and Barceloneta beach.
