The temperature is still rising. How is that even possible in the middle of November?

Hello Global warming I would say!

Each morning we all loose precious minutes in front of the wardrobe because it’s hard to chose between your converse or boots, t-shirt or sweater and what ever you chose to wear during the day when the sun is out and then in the swift change in tempreture during the evening.

That can explain why we found ourselves outside in parks, sitting in outside cafés and even at the beach surrounded by quite a crowd which although enjoyed the great weather.
But being outside was not the only stuff we have been up to the last 2 weeks.

But see for yourself!

Exploring the rain forest at Cosmo Caixa – I went last Sunday not expecting much at all from the museum. However my day went from tired and lazy to amazing and energetic! Firstly upon my arrival I didn’t have to pay the entry fee as between 13th to the 22nd of November it was free. I then ended up spending 4 hours in the museum completely engrossed by all the interactive displays accompanied by their scientific explanations as well as the fantastic wildlife the have in “the Flooded Forrest”. – Anil

Snowing at Montjuic – I went to the Barcelona Snow Show two weekends ago to see the best Free Ski and Snowboarder´s competing against each other. It was the highest ramp in Europe on the Big Air Tour and it was just incredible to see the mid-air maneuvers performed by the competitors. Further more you could stroll around the shops to see the latest in winter sport or to warm yourself up with a hot chocolate. – Yhan

Humming along with the Beauty and the Beast – I saw the musical again. I already saw it once in Holland, which was the first musical I went to. So I really wanted to see it again, but this time off course in Spanish. The costumes, décor and songs where almost the same as in the Dutch musical so it was great to see it again in a different way! – Kelsey

Singing Blondie at Anti-Karoke – Uups I did it again. Last night I put on my “singing” boots and entered the stage at Sala 2 and performed Blondie’s “One way or Another”. Antikaroke is an absolute Barcelona classic and you can not leave the city without visiting it once.  This is not a normal Karaoke night…you will not find the classics like My heart will go on or I will always love you. Instead you will hear Rock and Punk songs singed by total amateur or almost professionals. You can be sure that most of the brave singers (like me) will put on quite a show. Getting your freak on at Otto Zutz – In my opinion is one of the first addresses for a big night out on Saturday. It exist since 1985 and is located in Calle Lincoln 15. It offers a number of different halls each with unique atmosphere and music styles from Hip-Hop, R&B, Funk and house. You may need to dress up a little as you may not get in with your sneakers on. Also if you plan drinking the night away then think again as it is not the cheapest club. – Sandra

Eating and drinking Mexican – Finding a good Mexican restaurant is quite difficult in Barcelona as often you end up with ordinary but expensive food with small potions. El mexicano de Barcelona is an exception. You get typical snacks and they are famous for their traditional chilaquiles. Also they choice of Mexican beers and tequilas are enormous. – Tu My

Relaxing in the sun at Nova Icaria – The summer is back! Last weekend it felt like May or June and I spend my afternoon at the Nova Icaria beach. It was packed, the beach as well as the Xiringuitos. It is great living in Barcelona. – Pierre

Visiting the Santa Monica Art Centre on La Rambla – Some great exhibitions here including video installations about Improv Everywhere and a great collection of photographs by Agustí Centelles from 1939 of one of the concentration camps during the Spanish Civil War. They also took part at the MP3 experiment. – Paul
