Unique Events In Barcelona - The MP3 Experiment

Barcelona is a city rich in surprises, and in honour of the inauguration of Artfutura, the MP3 experiment will be taking place, an innovative and curious event, similar to the freezing, which “immobilized participants” in plaza Reial in June, and the Moonwalk on the Ramblas in July. It is the first and only experiment of its kind in Spain.

What exactly is the MP3 experiment?

This is an experiment which was created by Improv Everywhere, a group born in New York who have put together more than 85 events, including improvised musicals in supermarkets, spontaneous gatherings in parks and ‘freezings’. The MP3 experiment is therefore an occasion to laugh, have fun with friends and do something unusual, and will take place simultaneously in Madrid, Murcia, Vigo and naturally here in Barcelona

Who can take part?

The event is suitable for everybody: it isn’t dangerous and, above all, it’s free. The only prerequisites are to come wearing a red, blue, green or yellow t-shirt, bring an MP3 player with you and at the pre-arranged time and place play the MP3 file which you can download here: http://improveverywhere.com/mp3experiment/Experimento_MP3.mp3
