By now, many of you are surely asking yourselves: Barcelona Summer Week? Never heard of it. What is it? A fashion show? NO! Barcelona Summer Week is one of the best and exciting Barcelona events – a gigantic house and techno festival spanning over four days. You may not have heard much about it as this is only the second year the festival has been running since its creation in 2009.

The Barcelona Summer Week is simple – four days with over 100 different DJs playing in different locations in Barcelona, making for an awesome, party atmosphere.

What is the program? Who’s playing?

Barcelona Summer Week celebrates the main events the weekend of the 6th to the 8th of August, but there are plenty of smaller events before. For example, on the 4th and 5th of August, from 16.00 until 20.00, there’s a huge beach party at Bogatell which is free for everyone!

But that’s not all! The beach parties are only the prelude to what is to come. In many clubs around the city, Barcelona Official Summer Week Nights will be held, where you can really let off steam. So after the party on the beach the following Barcelona Events take place…

But this is just the warm-up to the real party!

On the weekend of the 6th, 7th and 8 August at Sant Jordi on Montjuic, the party really begins. On these days, many of the DJs who are usually confined to the clubs will put their skills to the test on two big stages. For those of you who still can’t get enough, on the last day of events, there will the insane BSW 2010 Closing Party, with German DJ Beat Circus and many more…
