The famous chef, Ferran Adriá, is the owner of what has come to be named, for the forth consecutive year, the Best Restaurant in the world – El Bulli. He is known as the ‘kitchen alchemist’, due to his great skill and creativity.

Ferran’s brother, Albert, serves as proof that these qualities run in the family’s blood, and in 2005 inaugurated ‘Inopia Classic Bar’, a Tapas restauant, permitting him to pour his creativity into the most succulent of dishes.

The unusual mixture of informality and elegance which permeates the place can be observed right from the entrance, due to its hughly coloured metal curtain. Inside, the extremely elegant and professional presentation contrasts with the simple, even informal decoration.

The choice of dishes is quite extensive, and you can find anything here from the very simple pork, lamb and chicken squewers, to the more extravagant tapas, which combine very different flavours, such as lamb with a raspberry sauce. However, my favourite dish is the ribs with almonds. This restaurant/bar is unique in many respects, the decoration and the tapas being two clear examples. And price is no exception either, since all of the tapas have an extremely good price-quality ratio, costs running between 3.90 for a squewer up to 12 euros for the most elaborate dish.

Once inside, you will find it easy to settle into the relaxed atmosphere, which has varying festive touches every night of the year, and over a few glasses of cava you can enjoy a nice conversation despite the background noise.
