Location
Small fishing village, in the north-eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 24 km north-east from Figueras, 65 km north from Girona, 160 km north-east from Barcelona. In the resort: shops, restaurant, bar, disco, attractions. Access: access via a good road. Railway station in the resort. Perpignan 65 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Barcelona-Prat Llob. (BCN) 170 km, Girona-Costa Brava (GRO) 70 km. First mentioned in the 10th century, many cultures have left their mark on the villa and its surrounding area, reflected in the impressive roman monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes. Today, Llanca has kept its fishing harbour with its daily fish market.
