Ciutat Vella Ciutat Vella

At any time of day this area contains a mixture of native Barcelonans and tourists from around the world. The most famous street in this district is, of course, Las Ramblas, with its many street musicians and performers. On this boulevard there is always a lot of activity around the many newspaper-kiosks, flower and pet shops. Young people, and tourists generally visit this district, but of course there are also many nice little bars, for the `older´ tourist.

L'Eixample Eixample

In this modernist part of the city there are three distinctly different ambiences in the different bars and discotheques, but never mixed. In this district you will find locals that are lovers of design, traditionalists, and, of course, the young and informal ones. Plaça Catalunya is THE place to go for charming terraces, visited especially by young people and tourists.
