very small but excellent location.

The apartments were old and basic but spotlessly clean, excellent location and within easy walking distance of las ramblas, plaza catalunya and the port in particular, plenty of good little bars and restaurants nearby with great prices! Contact at apartments was friendly and tried very hard despite only speaking spanish!

Place very clean but we felt cheated to be told we could use micro-wave/kettle as no basic mugs/bowls were provided so had nothing in which to warm up food/make coffee. We just had plastic cutlery and a plastic cup that melts if you put coffee in it. Didn't even have a bowl to have cereal in the morning, so doesn't really fulfil the description of 'basic amenities'. However now I notice that the online description has been changed and a 'basic cooking set' with glasses and cutlery is offered at an extra charge, which is more honest. Street very very noisy all through the night but then again to be expected since it was dead centre in the Gothic Area. Not good for families with kids/elderly couples but great if you're keen on the nightlife. Best thing about the accommodation is that you get to go everywhere on foot and the area is full of character, better than the tourist trap Las Ramblas. Couple of shady characters around but nothing to worry about if you use your common sense.

Very noisy. No glasswork, plates what so ever. Good bed, good shower. Small television, no remote control, and just five channels. Very expensive for poor appartment

As described - basic but perfect for those who want to do a lot of sightseeing and only want somewhere as a base. Contact was on time and very helpful. Location wise - couldn't have asked for anywhere better and apartment was quiet in the evenings
