Und da die Fenster dem Stil der typischen Häuser im Viertel Barceloneta entsprechen, halten sie den Schall auch nicht ab. Die Matratzen in den Betten waren so, dass wir mehr ungepolstert auf dem darunterbefindlichen Brett(?) lagen. Da könnte der Eigentümer noch etwas tun. Was uns in der Küche gefehlt hat, ist eine Teekanne. Mit der Elektrik der Wohnung hatten wir im Gegensatz zu anderen hier berichtenden keine Probleme mehr. Dass stromführende Leitungen hinter einer Spiegeltüre im Flur offen liegen, darüber sehen wir mal hinweg, da das in etwa 2m Höhe ist, und da kann man ja die Finger weglassen (ausser, wenn man im Dunkeln mal die Sicherung suchen muß. Dann wird\'s schon gefährlich). Absolutes Highlight und guter Geist war J. der uns mit der Abholung vom Flughafen und auch in einer anderen Notsituation tatkräftig und kreativ zur Seite stand. J. You were a good spirit to us. We will not forget you:-)"

Et un peu déçu de la taille des balcons. A part cela, rien à redire, n'hésitez pas à y aller!"

Wohnung sauber, Reinigung klappt gut. Der Druck in der Wasserleitung ist leider etwas schwach. Da müsste etwas gemacht werden. Ausstattung ist ansonsten gut. Leider nur spanische Fernsehsender verfügbar. Das war aber für uns nicht so wichtig."

Having made arrangements to call our contact person at 1 pm in order to collect the keys an hour later we only reached an answering machine. After a few hours sitting on the sidewalk, without anyone picking up the phone we started to get worried, calling around for a hotel and thinking about whether we could get our deposit back or not, when a call finally went through. The explanation: the person in question had been out of town, with a bad connection... (By that time some old guy living in the house had heard our story and gotten truly upset on our behalf, calling around and leaving voicemails with a few choice words to the persons in charge who he appearantly knew... pretty funny actually). Finally got our keys around 5 pm or so, after a bit of a scare and a wasted afternoon. Apart from that, everything was great. Great neighbourhood, great apartment. Very narrow stairs, water pressure a bit low, don't shower while doing the dishes :)"
