J'ai passé une semaine chez Xavier qui est un hote charmant, très organisé et très attentionné.
Partager son intimité m'a au départ un peu surprise car nous ne sommes pas habitués en France à tant de confiance. J'avais l'impression de rendre visite à un ami.
La formule de partage de la cuisine, de l'accès à la superbe terrasse est une formule très agréable qui laisse beaucoup de liberté. Barcelone est une ville relativement chère, ainsi, il est possible de réduire le budget alimentation en mangeant parfois sur place, même si les tentations de manger à l'extérieur sont nombreuses. Appartement très propre. Terrasse objet de toutes les attentions, très verte et finalement beaucoup plus agréable à mon sens que la plage pour un bain de soleil.
Vivre en co-location avec plusieurs personnes de nationalités différentes (espagnoles, allemandes et françaises pendant mon séjour) a forcément un petit côté remake de "l'auberge espagnole", même si je n'ai pas croisé Romain Duris en arpentant le parc Güell. Dans cette petite chambre, simple mais largement suffisante, je me prenais parfois à rêver à mes années d'étudiante. J'ai même eu la chance de rencontrer d'autres touristes (allemandes) avec qui j'ai partagé quelques sorties. En résumé, très bonne ambiance conviviale.
Le quartier de Gracia est le quartier où il faut être pour les fêtes du 15 août. Les festivités durent une semaine. Toute l'année les voisins d'une même rue confectionnent des décorations thématiques en utilisant principalement des emballages recyclés. Le programme des festivités (concerts, danses, repas) occupe plusieurs pages d'un mini-journal distribué pour l'occasion.
L'appartement est très bien situé notamment pour la visite de certains sites "modernistes" que l'on peut rejoindre à pied facilement. C'est un peu loin de la Rambla mais personnellement j'ai préféré l'authenticité du quartier de Gracia (surtout pendant la fête) à la foule compacte de touristes de la Rambla.

L\'appartamento è collocato in un\'ottima posizione, è molto carino, pulito, curato e poi non manca niente. La zona è servita in maniera ottima da tutto: Autobus, metro, supermarket ecc ecc... |

Le logement est très bien, très fonctionnel, Très propre, le propriétaire est très sympathique, très accueillant. J\' ai bien aimé le quartier que j\' ai trouvé calme. Je pense que si je retourne prochainement à Barcelone, il n\' est pas impossible que je revienne ici...

The place was great. It's located in the nice Gracia area. There aren't too many tourists in the area so most people are speaking Catalan (or Espanol..). The terrace is great, and the owner is very nice. Its great for someone looking to study or do more than just party in Barcelona (though I did both). |

On this occasion the apartment was shared with a young couple who did not wash dishes or leave the bathroom in the state in which they found it.
Overall I will be very happy to stay here again.

Very helpful landlord with typical Spanish soul, e.g likes singing :) but it does't disturb! if someone prefers silence and privacy!
Very good location because it's rather in a small street(at night sometimes noisy , especially if FC Barcelona is winning a liga cup as when I was there -but the whole city was heaving ) in district Grazia where from you can take a long but very interesting walk going along main avenues e.g Rambla, Passage de Grazia leading to the astonning coast.From near the flat there is also good bus connection to Park Guell and Sagrada Familia.
The district Garzia itself has a lot of nice bars and small atmospheric market square with cheap internet cafes. |
