Apartment is quite close to Las Rambles, but on the WEST side. The nicer shops and restaurants are on the east side. There is definitely a rougher and seedier edge around the neighbourhood, but not at all unsafe. Also there is no elevator, it is a third floor walk up. The walk from the subway train is quite close, only 5 minutes from Liceu station and easy to take your suitcases. Also, make sure the AC is working before you check in if the weather gets hot! If you leave the windows open, then there will be lots of street noise to interfere with your sleep!

Thanks to Gerry and Anne for their incredible hospitality at their flat. The location is perfect for a weekend or week long getaway, a stone's throw from several exciting and vibrant districts in Barcelona. They are very knowledgeable about the attractions and surroundings, and were extremely accomadating. Thanks for a great trip!

A very nice tidy flat with enough space for everything you need. We had a lovely time during our stay and the hosts were very knowledgeable about the local area.
