This beautiful, stylish, tranquil and very central apartment is in the heart of Barcelona. It is ideal if you are planning a vacation where location, tranquillity and comfort are your priorities.
The apartment is located just 30 metres from the Ramblas, next to the Boqueria market and the Liceo theatre, meaning that it is within easy reach of all of Barcelona's places of interest, such as Plaza Catalunya, the Cathedral, the MACBA and Maremagnum, all of which are just five minute's walk away. It is located in the most ancient medieval neighbourhoods of the city, close to the Barrio Gotic and the Borne, where you will be able to make the most of the atmosphere, explore the best boutiques in town, as well as enjoying a multitude of bars and restaurants. Just next door, you will find all of the fruit and fish you can imagine at the Boqueria market, the well-known and undeniably beautiful and colourful market which is well worth a visit.
The apartment, measuring 65m2, is very tranquil considering its central position, as it is located on a pedestrianised street. If you come by car near the building you will find payable parkings. The building in which it is located has been recently constructed and has a classically-designed facade.
It can accommodate up to 6 people. It comprises two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds), with large built-in wardrobes and a double sofa-bed in the living/dining-room, where you will also find a wide-screen, 32" TV, TDT-system, international channels and DVD-player. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with glass-ceramic hobs, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, juicer, coffee-maker, kettle, water-filter, full crockery service and everything necessary for the kitchen. The bathroom has a lovely bath-tub.
In order to guarantee you the maximum in terms of comfort, in addition to the normal equipment the apartment also has wireless Internet and a telephone with free local calls, a washing-machine, hairdryer, iron, ironing-board, hoover, programmable air-conditioning and heating and a safe with enough room for a a laptop computer.

Die Kontaktaufnahme mit der zuständigen Person in Barcelona gestaltete sich von Österreich aus als sehr schwierig. Erst nach Einschalten der Agentur konnte nach 3maligen Anlauf eine Antwort aus Spanien erwirkt werden. In Barcelona selbst hat dann aber alles gut geklappt. Wohnung ist klein, sauber... und durch die Nähe zum Markt für Familien perfekt gelegen. Es ist auch recht ruhig trotz der Nähe zur Rambla und zum Markt. Ideal für 4 Personen, Ausstattung gut, obwohl Designwohnung ist nicht die richtige Bezeichnung für Ikeamöbel.

Sono eccessivi 40 € per fare una copia del mazzo di chiavi smarrite. (consiglio di andarsele a fare dal primo ferramenta). L'impianto elettrico è disastrato, è saltata la corrente elettrica. Internet non funzionava. quindi il servizio non c'era. Nello stanzino della caldaia c'era una perdita ...d'acqua, abbiamo dovuto provvedere con un secchio e svuotarlo varie volte, il responsabile ha mandato un condomino a verificare che la perdita non fosse eccessiva. Il portocino d'entrata ha la serrattura che sembra manomessa, o comunque non funzionale, le chiavi faticavano a girare. <br/><br/> nota di oh-Barcelona(23/07/10) il iproprietario ci comunica che tutti i broblemi che i clienti hanno trovato ( internet, elettricitá e gocciolio dell'aria condizionata) sono stati risolti.

Great placement. Very clean. Smaller than in pictures but cozy. Had a very good stay! The contact person spoke only spanish! It was a difficulty but other than that, all was good!

The accommodation was lovely although it was smaller in person than it appeared on the internet. The location was good - very central. And the contact, C., was lovely. The only drawback would be that we were only given one set of keys (party of 5) and that the keys are needed for people to get out ...of the building. Also it would have been nice to have spare towels as we were there for 5 nights. All in all, I would definitely come back.
