Holiday Apartments in Les Corts, Barcelona
Les Corts is an affluent residential and business area to the north west of the city centre, and is perhaps most well-known as the location for the home ground of FC Barcelona the fabulous Nou Camp Stadium. Its considered one of the safest areas in the city, and has traditionally been known as the university zone, as the site of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Not as high-profile a district as the Gothic quarter or Sagrada Familia, Les Corts is nonetheless worth thinking about for your trip to Barcelona. The areas student population gives it a lively feel by day and it tends to be fairly quiet by night as students and business professionals head home. Being based in this part of the city means youll be close to the countless upmarket stores and local shops on Diagonal Avenue, and around 15 minutes away from the city centre on the metro.
