Barcelona vacation rentals: Duplex flat in Gothic Quarter

  Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung. Sie ist wirklich sehr sehr schön eingerichtet, die Dachterrasse ist super. Toilette und Bad sind ebenfalls schön und sauber (Toilette mieft ein wenig, geht aber, wenn man die Tür geschlossen hält), aber sind halt sehr klein, genauso wie das Treppenhaus, ...was man gar nicht als solches bezeichnen kann: Zu der Wohnung in der 3. Etage führt ein minikleines Zwergentreppchen hoch. War aber alles kein Problem, wir hatten normale Koffergrößen bei uns. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral im Gotico Viertel gelegen (direkt an der Grenze zum Born-Viertel) und man kommt gut fußläufig zu den Ramblas, zum Hafen, zum Placa Catalunya. Soweit haben wir uns auch sicher gefühlt, obwohl man am besten nachts nicht alleine zur Wohnung geht (aber nachts sollte man ohnehin nicht alleine durch BCN laufen) Im Wohnzimmer war es nachts sehr ruhig, man hat nichts von dem wilden Barcelona-Leben gehört, wir konnten sehr gut schlafen. Oben im Schlafzimmer war es wohl ein wenig lauter, aber dies ist halt eben normal für Barcelona. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und freundlich, Schlüsselübergabe hat bestens funktioniert. Würden jederzeit wieder hin.  

  Das Appartment mit seinen beiden Stockwerken und der Dachterasse hat eine tolle Raumaufteilung und ist sehr schön eingerichtet! Die Lage im Gotischen Viertel mit mehreren tollen Bars um die Ecke ist super!

  The apartment was great. We loved the location, although we were told a few times to be careful because it was a dangerous area, but we didn't have any problems.

  Prima Unterkunft, sehr zentral gelegen. komplett eingerichtete küche. alles sehr sauber. die toilettendüfte kann man auch problemlos überleben. Schlüsselübergabe und -abgabe klappte wie am schnürchen.

  Spacious apartment in centre of traditional community. Peaceful little plaza, perfectly located for rambling streets of the Gothic Quarter, beaches, central transport hub and some great eatieries and drinkeries. A fabulous 4 days !

   We Were pleased with the apartment. But there were especially a lot of noise some nights to be heard at the upper bedroom. We found out, when we arrived, that it was a big issue not to disturb the neighbours.That meant thatwe were eager to prevent our children from making loud noises at all. Maby ...it was an idea to mention that in the description for the apartment. We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona very much. 

  everything was perfect apart from the nosey neighbour who stared at us every time we went up onto the roof terrace!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was perfect for exploring the shops and the local areas of interest and the apartment had a real home-away-from home feeling to it. If we're coming back to Barcelona we will definitely stay there again, as well as recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going.

  Flat was in a lovely little square. Only one small drawback was when we came home at 4am there were no outside lights so it took us a long time to enter the buiding as we couldn't locate the lock!!

  Firstly, the apartment was very clean and well looked after. There was also plenty of room for the three people in our party. The terrace area is very large and is great for sitting out on. There is also a washing machine, microwave and full sized fridge, which was very handy. The air conditioning... worked very well and was absolutely essential during our trip. There is also an entryphone system on the main door on ground level. The apartment is well located off the main road, so there is no excess noise in the evenings or overnight. It's only a short walk to the Ramblas, Port Vell or the beach. The contact person was very helpful and met us on time as previously arranged. In summary, a very nice apartment which we would have no hesitation in visiting in the future. 

  The accomodation was very spacious for two people and very clean. The roof terrace was excellent - great for sunbathing and drinking wine in the evenings. The apartment itself was set on a nice plaza, and 5 mins walk from Las Ramblas and the bars, and 5 mins from the waterfront. Perfect! The contact... person in Barcelona was also very helpful and met us at the apartment to show us round. 

   Siamo rimasti tutti affascinati da questo grazioso appartamento ,che si affaccia su una caratteristica piazzetta nel barrio gotico .Posizione strategica , ci si trova nel cuore di Barcellona . A pochissima distanza dal porto , e dalla rambla . Di più non si potrebbe chiedere !!!

  Das Appartement entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Wir waren angenehm ueberrascht von der Sauberkeit und Vollstaendigkeit der Ausstattung. Von der Waescheklammer bis zum Salzstreuer ist alles vorhanden. Kleine Einschraenkung: der etwas schwierige Aufstieg zum Appartement -sehr enges Treppenhaus! und die... Bettgestelle hatten eine eingebaute Weckautomatik (Quietschen)! Top Lage! Ramblas, Hafen, Metro und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in weniger als 15 Minuten erreichbar. Wir würden das Appartement jederzeit wieder buchen!

  tolle ruhige Lage inmitten der Altstadt, altes Haus mit Ambiente, Dachterrasse mit Morgensonne, gut ausgestattete Küche, insgesamt sehr praktisch eingerichtete Wohnung, kleine Unzulänglichkeiten im Maßstab unseres deutschen Perfektionismus sind problemlos akzeptabel.

  This was a really nice apartment, and my daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much, but I did not like the smell in the toilet and the bedroom. We enjoyed the terrace, and we though that the kitchen and the general decor was carefully chosen and attractive. It was ideally located for the shops and bars.

  Great location, felt very safe, quiet little plaza with everything nearby. 10-15 minute walk to beach, Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya. Apt. was clean and neat, perfect size for 2-4. Balcony is a nice plus. Air conditioning worked well and provided welcome relief at the end of the day.

  wir hatten jeden komfort,die beschreibung war exakt..eine komplett ausgestattete küche, fernseher, stereo anlage, klimaanlage,waschmaschine... alles war sehr sauber, die wohnung sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und für jede eventualität \"gewappnet\", also auch einen staubsauger, genügend... mülltüten, es wurde auch an die kleinen dinge des alltags gedacht. die lage der wohnung war ideal, alle wichtigen orte und viertel, sowie der strand waren leicht und schnell zu erreichen und das viertel an sich war sicher.. der lärmpegel war normal, da die wohnung zum hinterhof gelegen ist, sich da aber auch geschäfte und eine kleine bar befinden. wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!!

  Excellent accommodation. Highly recommended but please note that there are quite steep steps up to the apartment which are also quite narrow. Great location and well equipped apartment.

  I would suggest a couple of things that are very simple and would make a big difference, Provide extra sheets and pillows and pillow cases, as well as an extra set of towels. The quality of the sheets/bedding is poor and it's a very small expense.Same comment re towels. Also provide towels for drying dishes.

  Appartment hat Feeling, für 2 Personen optimal ... aber auch zu dritt nicht zu eng. Ausstattung ausreichend, alles für den täglichen Bedarf ist vorhanden. Lage am Pl. Tranginers für Ausflüge ideal, der Platz an sich ist ein Kleinod ... schöne, große Terasse ! alles sehr gepflegt. Kontakt sehr freundlich

  Appartement très sympa,en duplex avec une terrasse l'été... il est de plus très bien placé en plein coeur du quartier Barrio Gotico, on peut tout faire à pied. Nous recommandons.

   Accogliente e situato in una buon posizione.In gennaio l'appartamento era molto umido soprattutto i primi giorni, ma bisogna considerare che è situato in nel quartiere gotico e l'edificio ha molti anni. Mancano alcuni accessori in bagno e in cucina.

  Un appartement très bien situé, grand, lumineux. Un petit bémol du fait de l'humidité (peut-être est-ce la saison : mois de février). Très bon contact avec la personne qui nous a donné les indications par téléphone et nous a laissé les clés.

  Location couldn't have been better. The apartment itself was nice and cosy.

  The apartment was cosy. The square lively and interesting. The toilet area smelled moldy. The climb to the apartment on the very narrow stairs should be mentioned in the description. I was not expecting that and at my age would not have chosen to rent that apartment. It was very discouraging to... see how far up I had to climb after a long day of travelling. 

  Really nice and quiet apartment with an excellent location. Near to the beach and to nice shops at the old town. Metro station is also in short distance.

  Appartement très agréable à vivre (un peu humide mais pas gênant en été). Terrasse plaisante le soir. Quartier extra à la fois central et suffisamment eloigné des ramblas trop touristiques, petite place charmante et animée - 15mn à pieds de la plage. Attention : difficile d'accès en ...voiture et place inconnue des gps (c'est derrière la grande poste). Un appart où on se sent barcelonnais ! Nous avons bcp apprécié !

  Gute Lage, einfache Ausstattung. Sehr schmale Treppen, WC und Bad klein, aber funtionell (abgesehen vom Abfluss der Dusche...)

  Schöne Wohnung mit Blick auf ein nettes Plätzchen. Stühle sollten mal ausgewechselt werden und auch die Küchenutensilien sollten öfter kontrolliert bzw. ausgetauscht werden. Gerne wieder :-).

  i was extremely happy with my stay in barcelona and accomodation through oh-barcelona. the location was amazing, very central and the loft was terrific. i really liked the space and the roof terrace was great. we had a lot more than i thought - tv, stereo, washer dryer. we got to experience a ...different side to barcelona, like a local. it was just very difficult to leave barcelona and our loft.

  Super Lage,aber durch Bars am Platz abends sehr laut.Verschiedene Dinge sind reperaturbedürftig (Stühle auf Terrasse u. Küche,Schimmel in Dusche u.am Waschbecken)Grundreinigung v. Sofa u. Schränken ist nötig.Bei dem Preis könnte mal wieder investiert/renoviert werden.Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ...war sehr freundlich,wurden schon erwartet u. Auschecken mit Rückerstattung der Kaution war am Vorabend möglich.

ANMERKUNG VON OH (16Nov.): Der Eigentümer hat am 14. November 2009 die Wohnung genau überprüft und alle Schäden beseitigt.

  It was lovely overall - cold due to the winter but they brought in brand new space heaters and it was perfectly cozy. Reasonably well stocked kitchen, DVDs by the TV...the only thing I would have liked is a telephone in the apartment. My U.S. cell phone doesn't work in Europe so it was frustrating to be without a phone at all during my trip.

  The apartment was in excellent condition and had everything we needed. The location is great with public transport easily accessible.

  Geschmacksvolle Einrichtung, sehr bequeme Betten. Grundausstattung etwas dürftig (laut Vermieter ein Versehen seines Mitarbeiters). Dachterrasse natürlich toll! Problem mit der Feuchtigkeit in der Toilette trotz der Lüftung doch noch nicht ganz behoben... Ansonsten genial gelegen! Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich!

  Tout s'est bien passé.

  Wir haben uns in dieser gut ausgestatteten und sauberen Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst. Der Lärmpegel der Placa ist höher als von zu Hause gewohnt; auf der Placa tobt an schönen Abenden noch lange das Leben, aber das ist auch ein Teil des südlichen Flairs. Und ...gelegentlich bekommt man ein erstklassiges kostenloses Gitarrenkonzert zu hören... Die Kontaktpersonen waren allesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man sollte aber über englische und/oder spanische Sprachkenntnisse verfügen. Die Treppe zum Appartment ist recht steil und eng. Für Gehbehinderte oder dicke Koffer nicht geeignet. Ich habe die Wohnung bereits Freunden weiterempfohlen und würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

  Die Unterkunft entsprach voll meinen Erwartungen.. Der nicht unerhebliche Lärmpegel auf dem Platz vor dem Apartment beeinträchtigt meine Bewertung ein wenig, hat aber mit der Unterkunft nichts zu tun.

  The apartment is very nice and cosy, and it was great to have a terrace, because the weather was so good. The apartment was actually better, than we expected, but the indoor climate at the top floor was not satisfactory.

  über mittelalterliche Außenstiege in ein mit Geschmack, aber einfach umgebautes Arpartement in einem der ältesten Häuser der Altstadt mit herrlicher Außenterasse und Blick auf einen kleinen Platz und seine Cafés - mitten im Gassennetz des alten Barcelonas, 1000m vom Strand , zum Schlafen ...und Pausieren während der Jagd nach dem Feeling der Stadt einfach ideal... wenn die Ansprüche sich darauf einstellen, dass es früher anders war als heute, dann bleibt die Zeit in diesen Wänden ein schlichter, aber herzlich-authentischer Barcelona - Traum, den wir gerne immer wieder träumen würden... Unsere Unpünktlichkeit glich J., die Verwalterin, mit absolut gelassen-freundlicher Zuverlässigkeit aus und war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir sie darum baten. Die Verständigung meisterte sie in einem Englisch, das jedenfalls besser war als meins. 

  Wir empfehlen die Wohnung weiter und kommen gerne selber wieder! Insbesondere die Lage der Wohnung ist top!

  The service when we arrived 02 o'clock in the morning was excellent.. We got our key at time and were instructet friendly in the use off the appartment, although it was in the middle of the night.

  3/4 très bien, parle plusieurs langues. En revanche, ai envoyé un SMS pour un pb rencontré dans l'appartement et je n'ai jamais eu de réponse...

  The Good: The flat was very nice and in a great location. We loved our little plaza and all the sidewalk cafes there! Could be Better: The flat was advertised with a washing machine which was broken when we arrived :-( After 2 weeks on the road, we really needed it! Also, we had to go buy ...some pretty basic items (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) as there was only one roll of TP available. (Maybe include a small charge in the rent and have it onsite?). Overall, a pretty good place though! Owner was on-time and very helpful. 

On the washing machine, in fact it is a problem that the owner is trying to address. It should be replaced as soon as possible. On toilet paper, the minimum is provided for each stay. Since it is not a hotel but an apartment, additional services are reduced slightly.

  Cosy appartment, very well situated, with a nice square in front of the building. Beds could have been more comfortable and a double bed is very welcome. Furthermore the baby cot was rather unstable (but can be solved by replacing it for another one).

  Appartement vraiment sympa, bcp de charme, ultra bien situé et terrasse en or pour les petits dejeuners et apéros (supermarché à proximité ouvert tard le soir). La placette sur laquelle l'appartement est situé est très jolie avec des terrasses très sympas et des personnes qui jouent de la ...musique. Pour autant, depuis l'appartement on n'entend pas un bruit car double vitrage (doublé de la clim en été, idéal). Personne de contact charmante, flexible et très accueillante. Très bien dormi. GENIAL !! Merci Oh-Barcelona, service au top ! Je recommande à 100% cet appartement et y séjournerai de nouveau avec plaisir !

  Lo único que he echado de menos han sido más toallas, pero bueno como tenía lavadora y era verano tenía toallas listas en de la mañana a la tarde :) Pero por lo demás hemos pasado unas vacaciones estupendas en el alojamiento y la terraza esta muy bien para tomar unas cervezas. My only ...complaint was that we didn´t have enough towels but we had washmachine so I had them ready in few hours :). I had a wonderful time in the apartment and the terrace was a great space to drink few beers.  

  Quick response to A/C problem appreciated. Some written instructions in English would be useful. Booking with oh-barcelona.com no problem, good response to questions.

  Die an sich gut eingerichtete Wohnung wirkte feucht, bei starkem Regen tropfte Wasser von der Decke. Von der Toilette ging eine starke Geruchsbelästigung aus. Das enge Stiegenhaus macht das Erreichen der Wohnung beschwerlich, wenn man Gepäck trägt.

Der Eigentümer bestätigt alle notwendigen Maßnahmen zu treffen um einen guten Zustand der Wohnung sicherzustellen.

  L'appartamento è una chicca. La terrazza dove far colazione o stappare una cava prima di scendere a fare ribattini di cerveza nei locali sotto casa: un lusso. Arredato con gusto, è molto pulito e non gli manca niente. PS: J., il nostro proprietario di casa è stato gentilissimo. Se tutti gli ...appartamenti sono come il nostro in Placa Traginers, credo sia il sito migliore per godersi una vacanza a Barcellona 

  Ist eine Sommer-Wohnung und nicht für im Winter empfohlen. War trotz Heizung kalt und am Morgen tropte es von der Decke herunter. Ansonsten nette, heimelige Wohnung mit viel Charme.

  Beaucoup d'odeurs désagréables et très humide. Divan lit plus ou moins confortable. Évacuation de l'eau dans la douche déficiente.Les murs seraientt à repeindre surtout salle de toilette, très sale... Toutefois la location est parfaite.La personne contact très disponible et très bon français.

Le propriétaire confirme prendre toutes les mesures nécessaires pour assurer la qualité et le bon état de son appartement.

  This is a great apartment but something has to be done regarding the smell coming out of the toilet (reflux from the sewers?) Made a first reservation through the site that was canceled because the room was not available. A deposit in EUR was debited from my credit card and later refunded in EUR ...to my credit card. But as this was not done as a cancellation of the first transaction but as 2 separate transactions, I lost a couple of AUD (EUR got weaker against the AUD and I had to pay a currency exchange fee from my bank for the first transaction) due to no fault of my own... 

OH has apologised for the cancellation of the first apartment, it was an exceptional case. Regarding the recovery of bank charges, OH has refunded the money to the client.

  Die Wohnung hat mir von der Ausstattung her bestens gefallen. Man hätte aber vor meiner Ankunft mal lüften können. Es war ein bisschen muffig. Ansonsten empfehlenswert!

  1; Die Klimaanlage hat im Wohnzimmer nicht funktioniert. Es gab aber elektrische Heizkörper in der Wohnung, die wir allerdings in unserer Abwesenheit nicht einschalten trauten. Deswegen war die Temperatur nach unserer Rückkehr aus der Stadt anfangs immer frischer. 2; Auf 4 Personen gab es nur 3 Messer.

The owner confirms that due to this being a building in the old Gothic quarter of town, the moisture problem cannot be avoided when it rains. Meanwhile, the apartment has heating to provide comfort and warmth for the clients during their stay. The apartment also has a space for hanging clothes on the terrace. The landlord confirms that he has fixed the two plugs that were broken.

  En el piso habia un olor malo asi que tuvimos que mantener la ventanas abiertas. A parte de este problema buena ubicacion y confortable.

  L'appartement est super bien situé et très bien agencé avec un grand salon et sa terrasse sur les toits. Il permet d'accéder facilement à tous les bons spots de barcelone. La place sur laquelle il donne est vraiment agréable de jour comme de nuit (3 petits bars avec terrasses et voisinage ...local super cool ... on se sent barcelonais). Idéal pour faire la fête en plein quartier gotic et proche de el born, el raval et barceloneta ! L'appart est situé dans un vieil immeuble typique possédant beaucoup de charme. Cependant il est un peu humide et il y a une odeur désagréable persistante ! Dans la chambre un grand lit double serait appréciable. Appart à recommander à tous ceux qui cherchent une parfaite immersion dans la vie barcelonaise ;) 

  die Unterkunft hätte eine bessere Bewertung bekommen, wenn nicht Feuchtigkeit dafür gesorgt hätte, dass man bei jedem nachhause kommen erst einmal die Fenster weit aufreissen muss.

  La connection au Wi-Fi n'était pas fonctionnel ou très lent. Nous n'avons pas pu utiliser Internet de l'appartement.

  Eine tolle, saubere Unterkunft für Junge und Junggebliebene! Wir haben uns sofort wohl und (ein-)heimisch gefühlt, was sicherlich auch mit dem netten Empfang durch Silvia zu tun hatte. Die enge und steile Treppe zur Wohnung passt zum alten Haus, einzig dass sich bei der Wohnung kein Lichtschalter ...für das Treppenhaus befindet, ist etwas eigenartig. Fürs WC hatten wir vorsorglich einen Raumspray mitgenommen, teils war er nötig, teils nicht. Wohn- und Schlafbereich sind gemütlich (den Fotos entsprechend, Matratzen hart und ok) überall gibt es Rollläden, die Küche ok (Lappen mitbringen). Lediglich die Dachterrasse dürfte etwas einladender gestaltet und die Sitzgelegenheiten etwas gemütlicher sein - wir haben sie aber trotzdem genossen. Internetzugang problemlos, Klimaanlage modern + ruhig.

  When it rains water comes into the apartment through the ceiling and around the upper patio doors. This causes mold and mildew, which you can smell throughout the apartment. After I sent an email about the water leakage, someone came that day to help clean it up.

  Schönes, ruhig gelegenes Appartment. Die Dachterrasse ruft danach, ein bißchen gestaltet zu werden und über ein wenig mehr Toilettenpapier werden sich auch nachfolgende Gäste freuen.

  Eine tolle, saubere und super gelegene Wohnung für Junge und Junggebliebene. Das abenteuerliche Treppenhaus passt zur Umgebung. Sehr netter Empfang durch S. Es dürfte etwas mehr WC-Papier vorhanden sein ;-). Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

  Eine gemütliche Wohnung in absoluter Toplage, mitten im gothischen Viertel. Alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar, die Ramblas, der Hafen, der Strand. Man befindet sich mitten im Geschehen, mitten in den wunderschönen Altstadtgassen mit ihren kleinen Läden. Die Wohnungsaustattung war gut, es war ...alles vorhanden, was nötig war, dank der Klimaanlage war auch die Augusthitze erträglich. Abends ist der Platz vor dem Haus sehr belebt, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat. Die Dachterrasse haben wir zum Frühstücken und zum Tagesausklang gerne genutzt. Wir hatten den Eindruck, hier Barcelona sehr autentisch erleben zu können und kommen gerne wieder! Danke an M, der schon früher als abgesprochen in der Wohnung war, so daß wir auch schon früher reinkamen! 

  The apartment is as is advertised, quaint, comfortable and in a good location. The bathroom is quite small, but usable if that is a consideration. It was quite hot while we were there, and the air conditioning was excellent. We had a slight problem with the shower drain, and Josef was there ...immediately and fixed it without questioning. The location can't be beat. It is right where you want to be in Gothic, and has close access to all transit and restaurants. The three flights of stairs require some getting used to, but are easily navigated after a few trips. We highly recommend this flat for a couple that want to experience old Barcelona. 

  Excellent apartment in a wonderful city - we loved the location and would stay there again

  Die Wohnung liegt zentral in einer ruhigen Seitengasse im 3. und 4. Stock. Von der Placa Cataluna aus (dort hält der Aero-Bus und die HopOn-Busse haben hier den Startpunkt) sind es ca. 15 Gehminuten, zur Kathedrale 5 min., zum Hafen 10 min. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 3 min entfernt, mehrere ...Restaurants und Cafes befinden sich ebenfalls in der näheren Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet, mit großer Dachterrasse und Klimaanlage. WC und Dusche sind separat, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Perfekt für eine Städtereise. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 

  Very nice apartment right in the center of the Gothic area. Easy walk to everything. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a good location.

  Lage des App. ist sehr günstig. Man hat in der Nacht Ruhe, wohnt aber dennoch sehr zentral. Das App. an sich war ursprünglich einmal sehr zu empfehlen (wir wohnten bereits das vierte Mal hier). Mittlerweile aber müssen wir feststellen, dass die Qualität deutlich schlechter geworden ist - das ...gilt insbesondere für die Dusche. Hier macht man sich offensichtlich erst gar keine Mühe mehr, den vorhandenen Schimmel zu entfernen bzw. zu vermeiden. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt ist die Küchenausstattung. Vieles ist zusammengewürfelt, einiges nicht ausreichend oder gar nicht vorhanden. Fazit: Wenn der Eigentümer des App. beherzt die mittlerweile vorhandenen Mängel beseitigen würde dann wäre die Unterkunft aufgrund seiner Lage unbedingt zu empfehlen. So aber ist eher davon abzuraten. 

  Wonderful location, and the feeling of really living in Barcelona. Of course a bit hard to locate at first, like everything in Barrio Gotico, but I loved even that. S, the owner is a very nice and helpful woman. Yes, the apartment is smells a little bit of damp, but thats Barcelona. Great location, ...great rooms, and pittoresque narrow hallway. (Nothing for a wheelchair though). It has air conditioning in all rooms. The apartment have more light than it seems it the pictures, and two balconies. The little plaza outside has a beautiful little lunchbar, with sun during daytime, where you find good and cheap meals and loving personell. Grocery stores and panderias also close to apartment, and both sea and city just a tiny walk away.We would definitely rent the same place again. 

  Die Wohnung liegt super und war sehr sauber. Anfang März konnten wir jeden morgen auf der Terrasse frühstücken! Nur in der Dusche scheint etwas mit dem Abfluss nicht zu stimmen, es roch doch manchmal etwas streng! Trotzdem tolle Wohnung!

  The apartment was excellent. The location is unbeatable in Barcelona. Be sure to check out Bo de B just down the street, best bocadillo in Barcelona. The apartment offers an excellen traditional Barcelona experience with everything you need within a five minute walk. Check in was extremely easy and efficient.

  We loved our stay in Barcelona, in this wonderful apartment placed in a authentic spanish property with a view over a lovely little square with vigorous activity, yet calm and quiet. Superb location in the middle of the Gothic area with endless options of shopping and dining.   Au troisième étage accès par escalier très étroit donc à déconseiller aux personnes avec enfants et bagages. La salle de bains est un placard aménagé. L' excellent emplacement est le principal atout de l'appartement.

  Accueil à l'appartement SUPER Le logement était très propre et très bien situé dans barcelona. Il est prêt de tout (commerce - plage - bar ......)Je le conseils à toutes les personnes qui veulent connaitre Barcelona. Nous cela fait 5 ans que nous y allons.Je pense non nous en sommes sûr nous... réserverons encore cet appartement pour l'année prochaine 

  The whole experience was out of this world. The location is spectacular and the views from the terrace overlooking the courtyard were wonderful. The apartment itself is fabulous and it's a short walk to the beach. Can't recommend it enough. We will definitely go back!

  The most awful stairs that lead to an apartment, should be pointed out to people. Because apartment is old there is a smell of mold and dampness. I got alergy right away. But that is, probably, how all old apartments smell in Barcelona. Its a hotel for me next time!

  Fantastic location. Very clean. Good shower. However, there was a musty smell in the unit. Consider another apartment if you have asthma or respiratory problems.

  Cela fait 2 année que nous réservons cet appartement. Nous ne sommes pas déçu, par contre si nous avions une chose à dire et que le propriétaire devrait faire et que la vaisselle cette année n'était pas propre, elle était vraiment sale, donc à faire le nécessaire pour que cela ne se ...reproduisent pas.Sinon nous le RE RE REconseillons cet appartement toutes les personnes qui veut vraiment connaitre Barcelona.

  Ottima posizione. Un po'fatiscenti le scale dell'ingresso ma penso che in un quartiere cosi'storico e vecchio e'normale. Abbastanza pulito. Appartamento grande molto vivibile per 4 persone adulte. Bellissimo terrazzo al piano superiore.Uniche 2 pecche: il riscaldamento, le due stufette elettriche ...non bastano per scaldare un ambiente cosi'grande, soprattutto il salone e la cucina che sono grandi e l'acqua calda praticamente inesistente. Il boiler deve essere revisionato perche'a mala pena si riusciva a lavare due piatti e farsi una doccia una persona sola, poi veniva gelata.Per il resto ci tornerei subito!!!!! 

  tolle zentrale Lage (nähe U-Bahn, Strand zu Fuss 15 Min), schöne Dachterasse.Wohnung ist ziemlich dunkel, wurde aber kürzlich gestrichen Bei offenem Fenster hatten wir nachts Stechmücken. Treppenhaus eng. Strom der Steckdosen fiel 2x aus, wurde aber vom Vermieter sofort behoben.

  Mi esposo y yo disfrutamos mucho de la estancia en Barcelona. La ubicacion del Apartamento de S y JL es inmejorable! Muy cerca del Born, la Rambla y el Mercado Boqueria! Es una zona muy tranquila y en medio de las mejores atracciones. No nos dimos cuenta lo cerca que estabamos del mar hasta nuestra... salida al aeropuerto. Definitivamente regresaremos a Barcelona! y al mismo apartamento!. Las escaleras del edificio donde se encuentra el apartamento son muy angostas, por lo que es importante tomarlo en cuenta a la hora de empacar!. El apartamento tiene una terraza muy agradable. S y j L estaban fuera de la ciudad, por lo que C se encargo de recibirnos! Sus recomendaciones fueron de gran ayuda!  

  This was the perfect place to stay in Barcelona. Awesome location, in the picturesque gothic quarter where it is easy to walk to the beach (10 -15 minutes) and metro stations. The location was a big highlight for us because of its accessibility to everything. The apartment itself is clean, well ...stocked with everything you need, spacious and comfortable. The terrace was a huge treat - we ate breakfast out there every morning and it was just a perfect place to spend time in the sun when we weren't out exploring. We had read several reviews about it being a bit damp but we really didn't feel this at all (it is Barcelona after all). S. was so helpful any time we had a question. Would absolutely book here again if we went back. So helpful every step of the way. We were particularly pleased to be able to leave our luggage for the day on our last day as we weren't flying out until late. The staff in the building were so friendly, so helpful and so cheerful. S., our host, was just amazing and answered every question we had quickly. Would book again with Oh Barcelona in a second.  

  Best location in Barcelona, absolute fantastic. The apartment was good, nice rooftop (great!!). However the smell from the sewer was very bad unfortunately, hope they can fix it for the next guests!

  Lo peor que tiene este alojamiento son las escaleras estrechas de subida, ya que es un tercer piso sin ascensor. Por lo demás muy bien.

  A real gem. While a hike up the stairs the rooftop patio is worth it. Great kitchen (needs a good butcher knife), split HVAC (separate controls for up & down), we needed it and it works great. Serenaded by really good voice and guitar from the small plaza below each evening. Location is beautiful ...and very convenient to beaches, old sections, and famous plazas. Good locks, Windows, furniture, and cleanliness. Best internet of my month long journey. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Barcelona.

   Nous avons apprécié sa situation en plein cœur de Barcelone et son calme ,l'appartement est confortable et spacieux une fois passé les escaliers très étroits du dernier étage ( attention aux grosses valises)équipement cuisine succinct avec une cafetière à changer sinon le frigo est ...neufla coupure d'eau des toilettes est HSL'essentiel était là et nous avons passé un bon séjour

  Logement très bien situé au cœur de Barcelone.. je recommandée vivement.

  L'appartement est charmant, pratique, idéalement situé. il donne vraiment l'impression d'avoir un petit chez soi depuis lequel rayonner pour découvrir tout le centre de Barcelone, à moins de 5 minutes à pied du métro Jaume quand il s'agit de partir un peu plus loin ( sagrada familia, parc ...Guell...) et 10-15 min de la place Cataluna. Très facile aussi d'y repasser dans la journée pour déposer quelques achats ou faire une petite pause en profitant de la terrasse ensoleillée avant de repartir en vadrouille .... le rendez vous pour le check in avec S et J s'est déroulé exactement à lheure prévue, nous avions échanger avant notre arrivée pour évaluer le temps qu'il nous faudrait pour arriver de l'aéroport un samedi soir et tout s'est passé sans encombre. THE PERFECT PLACE IN BCN !!! 

  Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement, nous y avons passé de très belles vacances. Parfaitement situé, avec une très agréable terrasse sur le toit. Appartement très propre. S est formidable. La première journée nous avons constaté que le réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait pas. Nous ...avons envoyé un message à S. à 14:00, et le soir même, ils nous livraient un nouveau réfrigérateur. Service A1.

  A great roof top terrace chairs and table provided. Be ready for lots of narrow stairs to reach the condo/apartment.Well supplied clean and cozy. Tv and very good wifi service.One is close to metro as well as you are able to walk anywhere from this location. We stayed here for one week in March ...2017 and we are seniors! Very clean accommodation and outside garbage was collected 3 times a day and area swept as well. A lot of tours go on this route as there are parts of the old Roman wall from the 4th century in the plaza. Loved the narrow interwinding streets. Lots of places to eat out or go for groceries for supplies. A nice way to be a part of Spainish life in Barcelona! Being met by C upon our arrival was prompt polite and easily set up for our week's stay.  

  Overpriced for the standard of accommodation. We loved the location. C was excellent. We found the apartment clean and reasonably comfortable but thought it was very basic. The work going on outside made a lot of noise bs mess and we felt it was very poor to let it out when this was happening.

  S. who met us at the apartment was a lovely girl she showed us round the apartment and showed us were everything was on the map. The apartment was brilliant especially the terrace it was great to be able to go and sit on the terrace after a day of sightseeing, other reviewers mentioned the stairs we... had no problem with the stairs in fact we loved the stairs they are part of the quaint building. we were so happy we were able to book this apartment this year because last year we tried to book it but it was not available for our dates.we were in the best location in Barcelona the Barrio Gotico area is absolutely amazing.
