  fantastic location - unbeatable. The stairs were a bit of a challenge after a day's sightseeing, but not really a problem. Would not be suitable for a family or an older age group. The one thing was the keys for the appartment and the roof terrace. It is very easy to lock yourself out - you ...need to be aware of this all the time - very strange lock on the front door... Would stay there again if I go back to Barcelona though. 

  The contact person - Rosa - was an absolute delight, she was very helpful prior and during our visit and made us feel very welcome. The apartment couldn't be in a better location. It's literally just off Placa Reial and therefore close to everything (especially las ramblas and many great ...restaurants). It's on the 5th floor with no lift and so be prepared for the walk, but my parents, both in their 60s felt the benefit by the end of the week! The terrace has a great view and a private table and chairs, but, think about how much time you intend to spend at the apartment as we only ended up using it very briefly as we spent all of our time out and about. The terrace could be improved with a couple of sun-loungers and most definitely with a light, as once daylight has gone you can't spend any time up there and that was the time we were in our apartment the most and the evenings were balmy and mild and it would have been great to sit on the terrace and enjoy a drink. The apartment itself is plain and in some ways dingy. It was clean with all the necessary linen etc and it also benefits from lots of windows (but no view, but that's standard) but the rooms are small and could benefit from some colour and comfort, possibly in pictures on the walls or rugs on the floor or even if the walls weren't all a dirty cream. There is one main bedroom with a wardrobe, the second bedroom also doubles up as the living room in some ways as it has a tv and a dvd player, but there is no sofa or place to sit apart from the bed and a spare single sofabed and there is no wardrobe. The DVD player only worked for half a film and then it cut out, it seemed to overheat and refused to play again for around an hour, so don't get your hopes up as we did and bring films for the evenings. We had a slight ant problem also. Ants would crawl from beneath an electricity socket, but we were vigilant with our mess and they didn't bother us. There was one other problem, it would seem that there is next door neighbour who doesn't sleep at night and can be heard very clearly through the second bedroom (my room) and sleeping didn't occur until earplugs were found. Just to warn you... However, please don't think I'm saying the apartment is bad, because it isn't, it's a perfectly liveable and likeable temporary home with its pros and cons. The main positive being its location which is nigh on perfect! We had a great time in Barcelona and would definitely come back to this apartment if we were to return.

  Very nice flat with a perfect location, but the smell in the small street was discusting. All these men, who cannot find the way to the regular toilets. The city police has to do something. In Denmark it will not be allowed.

  The was fine. We needed more towels because we neither did not have time to wash ours and it rained so much that it was impossible to dry them. Everything elese was fine.

  Hi We stayed in the apartments for 4 nites in September 2004. Its a great time to visit the city of Barcelona because of the festive atmosphere. The alleyway that the apartment is on, is not very nice it was very smelly but the apartment was lovely (apart from the fact that we had to climb about 12 flights of stairs sometimes twice daily).

  sehr saubere wohnung, zentral gelegen.dachterasse liegt ein stockwerk ueber der wohnung. einziger nachteil ist der lärmpegel und die obdachlosen, die in der strasse uebernachten und der damit verbundene müll und unangenehme geruch im treppenhaus und auf der strasse.

  Das Appartement war sehr sauber und hat der Beschreibung genau entsprochen. Das Einzige, bei dem wir einmulmiges gefühl hatten, waren die Fenster...es war keine Fenstersicherung vorhanden - dies im 5. Stock mit zwei kleinen Kindern. Wir haben dann eine Lösung gefunden, so dass wir es alle in ...vollen Zügen geniessen konnten. Obwohl das Appartement mitten in der STadt liegt, war es extrem ruhig.  

  Nette Unterkunft zentral gelegen im Stadtteil Gotico, guter Ausgangspunkt f�r viele Unternehmungen und genau wie beschrieben. Das Erklimmen der vielen Treppenstufen hoch zum Appartment wird mit einem wundervollen Ausblick von der Dachterrasse �ber die D�cher Barcelonas belohnt. Die ...Vermittlerin der Wohnung hat f�r uns Stadionkarten entgegen genommen und nach unserer Ankunft mit zur Unterkunft gebracht :) Das einzige was uns gest�rt hat war, das die Handt�cher knapp bemessen waren (f�r 4 Personen je 1 Handtuch in 6 Tagen) und in der an sich sauberen Wohnung Kakerlaken unterwegs waren. 

  devo portarVi a conoscenza che l'appartamento visualizzato nelle foto, di parecchio si discosta dalla realtá in termini di : Presenza terrazza..totalmente assente a parte prendere una scala per arrivare sulla terrazza del tetto; Salubritá bagno, ha bisogno di manutenzione; camere e cucina da ...pulire molto meglio. L'unica veritá la posizione centrale e il fatto che non c'e ascensore. La terrazza torno a dire sembra prospicente la cucina..invece e tutta da un'altra parte 8altro piano..) con chiavi in comune a gli altri condomini...la stessa padrona si e accorta dell'errore e si e scusata dopo che la referente , aveva capito che in Italiano c'erano scritte cose differenti dalla versione spagnola , ma ci� che e piu grave differenti dalla realtá. S'intende che la proprietaria persona serissima si é presentata per chiedere scusa di tale incongruenza, ma era troppo tardi , noi stavamo partendo.. 

  The accomodation is in a very good location. however as advertised there are 6 flights of stairs. General cleanliness is ok, however we did discover cockroaches!! Overall, ok. The best thing about it is the fantastic location.

  Leider wurde ich sehr entäuscht. die erste Wohnung habe ich nicht bezogen. Sie war schmutzig und heruntergekommen. Tote Insekten lagen auf dem Boden. Die zweite von der vermieterin mir angebotene Wohnung habe ich dann dennoch genommen weil Sie etwas besser ausgestatte war sich aber dann ...herausstelle das es aus den Abflüssen im BAd dermaßen stankt, dass die tür stängig geschlossen gehalten werden mußte weil sonst die Wohnung komplett roch. außerdem brauchte es bis zur abreise, bevor die Wohnung erträgliche Temperaturen erreichte. Auf keinen Fall war es das Geld wert. Ich hätte für das gleiche GEld deutlich besser in einem guten Hotel Wohnen können.

  Der Beschreibung nach entstand der Eindruck, die Dachterrasse sei direkt mit der Wohnung verbunden. Dies war aber nicht der Fall. Für uns war es nicht schlimm, aber wenn jemand die Terrasse viel nutzen möchte, ist dies ein Nachteil.

  8/10 Appartement très sympathique avec chouette vue depuis la terrasse. Bon accueil à notre arrivée. Situation géographique impeccable. Bref, ne pas hésiter à louer. Bon voyage !

  My boyfriend and two friends stayed in the apartment in May 2011 and had a fantastic stay. The apartment is in an incredible location - 30 seconds from Las Ramblas and Placa Reial so within walking distance of everything. The area itself has loads to do and lots of great buildings. It's busy at ...night but never felt dangerous and you can't hear any noise once inside the building. Apartment itself was clean, bright, spacious, with plenty of storage and everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Those five flights of stairs are a bit of a slog after a long day or with luggage, but it's totally worth it for the amazing roof terrace, which is enormous and has views across the whole city. The landlady was helpful, friendly and easy to contact - no problems at all. Would happily recommend this apartment to anyone and would definitely stay again. Easy to book, good communication - would use again. 

  Commento negativo, le foto non rendono giustizia a questa topaia, solo per dirne una il soffitto è stato tinteggiato a colpi di Spray bianco... esperienza negativa. Non consigliato assolutamente nè per pulizia nè per confort. Buona la posizione.

  Accueil excellent. Mais la terrasse qui a une vue splendide est difficilement fréquentable à cause du bruit et de l'odeur dus à l'aération de la cuisine du restaurant en dessous.

  Bon accueil Très bien placé. Plutôt calme. Propre Par contre, au 5eme étage sans ascenseur...

  à recommander vivement pour un séjour de 4 personnes avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix par rapport à l'appartement et son emplacement au coeur de Barcelone

  Überraschend ruhige Wohnung "mittendrin", nah an der Plaça Reial. Schöner Blick von der Dachterasse!

  Die Unterkunft war solide, ohne großen Luxus, genau wie beschrieben. Leider mussten wir bei der Abreise fast eine Stunde auf die Kontaktperson warten.

  Situation parfaite (10 m de la place royale). Bonnes jambes conseillées (5e étage sans ascenseur). Appartement sans canapé (4 lits 1 place) mais bien équipé et propre. Le plus génial : grande terrasse privée au 6e étage avec vue sur Barcelone (mais pas aménagée, il y a juste une table). ...Compliqué d'obtenir l'adresse précise de l'appartement réservé. Trop de publicités reçues par mail. 

  Die Wohnung ist doch kleiner als sie auf den Bildern wirkt. Für 4 Erwachsene kann es teilweise recht eng werden. Bei schlechtem Wetter bleibt einem nur der Eßtisch in der Küche mit - auf Dauer - nicht sehr bequemen Stühlen. Die Terrasse befindet sich über der Wohnung und ist nur über das ...Treppenhaus und nicht direkt von der Wohnung aus zu betreten. Außerdem befinden sich dort zahlreiche Klimaanlagen, die für eine ständige Geräuschkulisse sorgen. Auch kann man nicht im Schatten sitzen, da es weder einen Schirm noch ein Sonnensegel gibt. Die Aussicht ist allerdings toll. Das Inventar in der Küche ist auch nicht gerade in einem guten Zustand. Es gibt zwar eine Waschmaschine und ein Bügeleisen aber keine Möglichkeit, die Wäsche aufzuhängen (weder eine Leine noch ein Wäschständer).  

  El apartamento es ideal para cuatro personas y en pleno Barrio Gótico sin necesidad de utilizar mucho transporte. Sin duda el ático me ha conquistado. Volveré!

  Good basic accommodation right in the heart of las ramblas. Very clean and A. who met us was great, giving lots of useful info. Roof terrace is a bonus, great views and an ideal venue for our pre going out jagerbulls! 5 flights of stairs are a decent work out, but we knew of this issue before booking so it was not an issue.

  c'est au 4 eme étage après avoir trois autre étage, donc 7 eme étage...

  The apartment was very nice and perfect for four people. GREAT roof top terrase, we used it all the time. BUT the aircondition didn't work. It didn't change the temperature in the apartment at all. Not very nice if it's 30 degrees outside... R. and A. where very sweet and helpful. The location ...was PERFECT, rigth by a beautiful square and the Rambla. Lots of cute little streets and restaurants. :) 

  Owner kindly allowed us to leave bags in flat on day of departure. Air conditioning was not effective and most of the mugs were chipped. Otherwise very comfortable. Great views from roof despite some noise from air con units.

  l'appartement est très central et calme. une excellente adresse pour un séjour à barcelone.

  There were problems with the washing mashine, it did not work. But the rest of our stay was very nice. Perfect mit town and walking distance to the beach.

  Waren begeistert von der Lage. Unterkunft war in ordnung. Barce lohnt immer.

  Appartement très bien situé, accueil chalereux, bien agencé, calme, superbe terrasse. Le seul bémol .... les étages ... sans ascenseur

  Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist perfekt.Sehr sauber und ruhig.Etwas mehr Kücheninventar wäre schön, z.B. Teekanne, Weingläser.

  The apartment was in a great location and was lovely to have the roof terrace. The only downside were all the stairs to reach it - 11 flights!!

  Die Terrasse und die fantastische Aussicht entschädigen für die 5 Stockwerke ohne Aufzug. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein.
