  The location of the apt. was fantastic, right by Plaza Reial. The apt. and some furnishings could be in better condition, but by no means was the apt. in a bad condition overall... everything mentioned on the website was there (TV, DVD, even a few DVDs, etc), however here are some things to be ...aware of when booking the apartment: 1. 4th floor does not equal 4th floor in either a North American or generic sense. In this building: First a 10 step climb in the 'lobby', then a few steps up to 'Entresol', then Principal, and THEN 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. The terrace is another level up. while it was a tedious task to climb these more than once a day, this was certainly a small-ish price to pay considering the convenient location. 2. The shower area is VERY small. By most standards. 3. The shower itself is just terrible... it sprays everywhere but down, and taking a shower is truly a challenge. 4. The futon that is supposed to sleep the 3rd and 4th persons is kind of unstable. 5. The \"double\" bed in the bedroom is actually 2 singles joined together. However, they are not really \"joined\", they are just PLACED together. A couple expecting to sleep within close quarters of each other may be a tad disappointed, as the beds only take the slightest nudge or weight to split apart. Also, prepare to sleep in separate (single) duvets. Both the ladies we interacted with were very pleasant (the person who met us, as well as the owner). All in all, we would go back, but would hope that the things mentioned above were fixed... it really shouldn't take much in the way of time and money, so it would be a shame if they weren't. 

  You will not get a better combination of location and quietness. Next door to Plasa Reial & La Rambla, yet no noise overnight at all! Magic? No - the apartment is several floors up & the entry is on a very small pedestrian street which is not busy at all. The apartment is pleasant, not ...luxurious but the roof terrace is such a bonus - we used it around 3 times per day! Fantastic views of the cathedral & the church at Plasa del Pi, and distant views to La Sagrada Familia. Also it is a private terrace, possibly recently split. Downsides: Let's be honest, it is five floors up. It did not bother us - added bonus of a butt & calf workout twice a day, however there are over 110 steps from the street to the door. Clearly this is not for everyone. We would definitely use it again. 

  This was the quietest place we have ever stayed at in a European city!!!. The view from the rooftop balcony at sunset was stunning.

  Accommodation was fine. Location was excellent.

  The location was perfect, central and quiet. The space was great because of the extra roof top patio. Having laundry facilities was a bonus. The furnishing was basic and the bed in the living room was not that comfortable but it was airconditioned. A bigger coffee pot would be nice. A shower door ...would help keep the water in the shower. The only time the stairs were a bother was taking the luggage up and then down. 

  Seul ennui: les marches d'escalier: 4 étages +2 = quelques 120 marches à monter ou à descendre!plusieurs fois par jour! Dommage que la terrasse ne soit pas au même étage que l'appartement!

  logement très bien situé, au coeur de l'action. l'équipement du logement est correct,il est propre et agréable. les quatre étages sans ascenseur sont un moyen de garder la forme, même après une journée de visites. nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse (même avec le vent)avec la vue sur les toits environnants.

  Zentrale Lage, Barca gotic pur. Für einige Tage Barca live sehr zu empfehlen. Air condition Geräte über dem Schlafraum laufen bis spät in die Nacht-ich dachte erst es wäre ein Hubschrauberlandeplatz, aber guter Wein und ein Gläschen cava bringen die Bettschwere.

  Amazing location, the appartment and terasse were great. I think the neighbours were very happy we were leaving after 6 days of partying but they didn't give us any trouble. Two negative things were the freaking stairs, there are two many of them and sometimes the little street to the hotel smells pretty bad.

  Great apartment, fabulous location. The contact person went out of her way to help us, and we had a great holiday in Barcelona. Perfect apartment for someone who wants to be central, with the whole Gothic quarter and Las Ramblas on your doorstep. Good exercise on the stairs, too!

  très bien sauf les étages à pied. Une antenne parabolique serait l'idéal. la téle espagnole est une catastrophe..

  a clean, quiet accomodation, in a welcome contrast to the immediate surroundings ( though they have a charm on their own) the- pleasant- terrace is not directly linked to the appartment, but located one more flight upstairs, so it's not always convenient to enjoy.

  Très bel appartement, idéalement situé dans le coeur du vieux Barcelone et loué par une femme charmante et très serviable. La terrasse est très bien. Le petit moins est l'état de saleté de la rue où se situe l'appartement ... Mais on n'y peut rien.

  Il n'y avait pas de sèche cheveux comme c'était indiqué sur l'annonce, et la douche était vraiment en très mauvais état malgré les nombreux commentaires d'anciens locataires qui l'avaient signalé. A part ça, appartement très agréable.

  I would definitely 100% recommend this aparment for rent! The location is perfect- safe and very quiet, and less than 1 minute walk to the happening streets of La Ramblas. It's right off of Place Rieal which has a couple of really good restaurants (Restaurant Taxamation), and Restaurant Sinatra is ...right beside the apartment. You are also a 5 minute walk to some great SHOPPING, 15 minite walk to Catalunya, 10 minute walk to Picasso Museum and Born area, and 15 minute walk to Barcelonetta. The apartment is clean and sleep 2 very comfortably. It could sleep 4 well too. I would definitely go back. Prepare your quads and calves for some stairs. It's on the 4th floor, but walks like the 6th floor. We didn't mind because we got a good workout! 

  Sehr einfache und spärliche Ausstattung - aber dafür relativ sauber. Das eine oder andere Ablageregal (z.B. im Badezimmer) wäre fein gewesen. Vom Straßenlärm bekommt man nichts mit. Super Lage - sehr zentral. Dachterrasse bietet guten Blick auf div. Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt.

  The apartment is not fancy, but it's comfortable, well-located, and has everything you could need for several days in Barcelona. The rooftop terrace was an added bonus, with nice views of the city. The trip up the stairs, while long, did not detract at all from the overall accommodation. Highly recommended!

  Appartement zelf goed, maar verwacht niet teveel. Wel schoon, genoeg handdoeken service ed en alle genoemde faciliteiten aanwezig. Dakterras top! Heerlijk om te ontbijten. Locatie kan niet beter. De trappen zijn met koffer pittig (4 hoog, feitelijk 6 hoog) maar goed voor de conditie!

  Awesome location! The roof-top terrace provides a lovely, sunny place to plan the day's events. The walk up is invigorating and provides an authentic experience!

  perfect location and no noise. The apartment was ok, but it looked better in the photos. The same goes for the roof deck: it was good, but looked better in the photos.

  Demasiado caro para el equipamiento y decoración que tenía.

  Everything was fine and as described except we needed matches. Adding a light and a couple of plants to the terrace would be a very good idea. Beds comfortable and apartment quiet. There was a shriveled half melon left in the refrigerator from the last tenants.

  Fantastic apartment. Quite small and basic inside but the roof terrace and location took it to the next level. Highly recommended.

  Appartement tres bien situé, tres propre, spacieux, une terrasse avec une vue sublime sur 360°.

  She was very helpful and so smiling face. We did not face any problem with her. So polite and se was very kindly. In our case, we need to go back to our country 1 day early. I requested 1 day amount back. She payed to me a small amount to me. I think, life is really difficiult in Spain. :-) ...Oh-Barcelona has very good design for finding your needs as flat. Thanks to all developer friends. 

  Location was very nice -- in the center of La Rambla. If I'll choose the next time, I'll pick something a bit more off center -- too much croud around :) Nevertheless quiet enough. Rooms were ok, with one disadvantage: 6th floor with no elevator.

  Wenn die Terrasse wie in diesem Fall keinen direkten Zugang von der Wohnung aus hat, sollte dies in der Beschreibung transparent gemacht werden. Die Terrasse ist in einem schlechten Zustand (Bodenplatten, Müll) und hat zwar einen Sonnenschirmständer aber keinen Schirm!

  c' est très agréable de visiter Barcelone à vélo, seulement la personne qui nous a loué l'appartement n'avait pas la clé du local à vélo;et nous avons eu des pbs avec les voisins en laissant les vélos ds le hall : donc impérativement exiger une clé du local!! L'appartement aurait besoin ...d' être un peu rafraichi tout y est un peu vieillot et usé La terrasse n' est pas utilisable le soir car il y a les odeurs de friture des restaurants qui remontent par les cheminées, elle aussi aurait besoin d 'être rénovée!! 

  Wir waren zufrieden mit der Wohnung. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Sauber und ordentlich.

  Im Schlafzimmer ist keine Klimaanlage (nur im Wohnzimmer, wo allerdings auch eine Schlafcouch steht), sodass es im Hochsommer direkt unter dem Dach doch sehr heiß werden kann. Ansonsten alles zweckmäßig.

  Tolle Wohnung an einer Superlage. Nette Kontaktperson. Wohnung könnte mal wieder einen Refresh gebrauchen. Etwas abgewohnt. Terrase toll mit sensationeller Sicht über Dächer von Barcelona.

  Das Raumangebot ist gerade noch ausreichend, das "Wohnzimmer" ungemütlich, Bad sehr beengt. Die Dachterasse in schlechtem baulichen Zustand und nur zu benutzen, wenn man nichts gegen die Gerüche aus den Abluft und Klimageräten hat, die direkt neben der Terasse angebracht sind.

  Very excellent position, right in the centre of the city. Very nice terrace upstairs. The fornitures in the apartment are quite good. Maybe I would not recommend it in cold winters.

  Au dernier et 5e étage avec superbe terrasse, comme sur la photo, mais à l'étage supérieur en passant par la cage d'escalier. Sinon très sombre et sans aucune vue, sauf sur les murs des maisons voisines. C'est probablement un avantage lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Draps et linges super propres et canapé-lit très confortable au salon.

  Das Appartement war nicht sehr sauber. Im Badezimmer fehlen jegliche Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Dusche war sehr unsauber. Die Senffarbe an den Wänden sollte geändert werden.

  Wir waren begeistert! Hervorragend! Sehr freundliche Vermieterin und auch von der Ausstattung und der Lage her einfach ideal!
